'I will never wear booty shorts!' Jessica Alba reveals her legs are off limit

'I will never wear booty shorts!' Jessica Alba reveals her legs are off limit... as she heads for dinner in sensible skinny jeans

It seems to have become the unofficial uniform of off duty Hollywood stars - a tiny pair of shorts and a huge pair of shades.
But you won't catch Jessica Alba showing off her body in 'booty shorts'.
Despite her fabulous figure the Sin City star has revealed she is 'confident' she will never be seen wearing the itsy-bitsy item of clothing.

She told InStyle magazine: 'I probably won't ever wear booty shorts.
'I feel pretty confident about that. And I don't like oversize shoulder pads, but I do appreciate a strong shoulder profile, like the ones [designer] Isabel Marant is doing.'
Jessica, 31, believes any piece of clothing can look good on a person - as long as a tailor is available to alter the item to fit correctly.
Listing various retailers, Jessica advised: 'Whether you shop at H&M, Topshop, Target, Forever 21, or buy high-end, if the piece doesn't fit, it will be halfway there.
'So get your jackets nipped in at the waist and your pants hemmed at the perfect place. If you get your clothing tailored, you can look like a million bucks.'

She also believes her style has become 'more adventurous' since becoming a mother to daughters Honor, four, and 16-month-old Haven with husband Cash Warren and she now loves to wear bright patterns and prints.
Jessica continued: 'In the past, I was into my uniform of leggings and a sweater. Now I'm willing to try bold prints, bright colours and different cuts.
'I feel confident about my ankles and feet - I'm not afraid to show them off with open-toe sandals. But there has to be a strap across the toes to look good.'
Jessica stuck to her style rules as she headed out for dinner in Beverly Hills in a sensible pair of skinny jeans with her girl friends.

And she told the magazine that her husband encouraged her to take time for herself away from their home.
'On a weekend Cash might say, 'Go get your nails done with a girlfriend. Haven is down for a nap and Honor and I will play. I know you work hard. You deserve some time for yourself.
'That, to me, is romantic. He's saying, 'You matter,' and that I'm more than just the mother of the kids or the wife who goes out to events with him.'

Jessica revealed she felt a kindred connection when she met her producer husband on the set of Fantastic Four in 2004 and instantly knew they would stay together forever.
She said: 'I just knew when I met him that I was going to know him forever. It was weird; he instantly felt like family. I'd never felt like that with anyone. We got each other. We're kindred spirits.'

Nothing is more important than family for the 'Sin City' star and the home bird admits photographs of their close relatives take pride of place in their Los Angeles abode as they want their two daughters to learn the value of family.
Jessica added in an interview with the new issue of InStyle magazine: 'When Cash and I moved into our family house, we collected hundreds of pictures of our aunties, great aunties, moms and dads, grandmas and grandpas, and sisters and brothers.
'Then we mounted them in the foyer of our home, covering the wall from top to bottom. Our daughters are continually reminded of where they come from.'
