Military wives in risqué photo-shoots for loved ones

THIS is what they are fighting for! The military wives transforming themselves in risqué photo-shoots to support loved ones

Being separated from your loved one while they're deployed in the military is difficult.
But a sexy trend sweeping the nation is making it that much easier.
Scores of soldiers' wives are signing up for boudoir photography sessions and surprising their spouses with the results in a bid to keep the fire burning while they are apart.

Hawaii-based photographer Daphne Hargrove says more than half of her clients are now military wives wanting to remind their husbands of what is waiting for them at home.

'The women get very excited about doing something for their husbands that they wouldn't expect,' she told MailOnline. 'They are all stepping out of their comfort zone and are very excited for their husbands to see them in this way.'

The women can choose whether they are lingerie-clad in the bedroom for the shoot or posing in a bikini on the beach.
'I tell them to wear something they feel sexy in or that their husband likes,' Hargrove said.
'They all start off very self-conscious but by the end they're romping around like Bond girls.'

She added that while the men adore it - one client's husband said it was the best gift he'd ever received and another said he looked at the pictures every day - the greatest thing about the shoots is that they make women feel good about themselves, at a time when life is particularly challenging.
'I think if the men in their lives are benefiting that is great but I think they should do it for themselves first and foremost,' she said.
'These are busy women, they're wives, mothers, career women so for them to do something like this to celebrate their femininity is awesome.'
