And now Selena Gomez is becoming a TV producer. On Monday Deadline reported the Hands To Myself crooner is behind a new TV series that has been described as a 'Latina Empire.'
This news comes the day after the 23-year-old Spring Breakers actress stunned at the iHeart Radio Awards in an orange jumpsuit.

According to the site, Selena will work with Aaron Kaplan through his Kapital Entertainment and Mandy Teefey on the drama series.
The show is 'set in a low income Latino neighborhood and is told through the eyes of an 18-year-old girl destined for greatness.'
Los Angeles high school senior Ana Cobarrubias serves as a consultant on the project.

Kaplan was inspired by Ana after hearing her speech at the The Zimmer Children’s Museum Discovery Award Dinner last November.
Her speech was about 'making a difference in her poor East LA neighborhood and her determination to defy society’s expectations for someone like her by being a strong and confident young woman,' according to Deadline. Cobarrubias plans to pursue a career in cinematic arts.
The show will be co-produced by Freeform and Universal Cable Prods.

so she could tell the stories of people from low-income neighborhoods like hers. She was brought in as a consultant on the project. 
Gomez has already been working with Teefey on Netflix’s upcoming series 13 Reasons Why.
Selena may be best known for her hits Come And Get It, Love You Like A Love Song and Same Old Love, but she first hit fame with her TV series Wizards Of Waverly Place.
She went on to star in Monte Carlo and  Getaway.
As far as her personal life, she dated Justin Bieber for several years and has since been linked romantically to Samuel Krost and Charlie Puth.
