Does Hollywood beckon for Pudsey? Dancing dog set to make millions off the back of Britain's Got Talent victory


At the start of 2012 there was one dog that caught the attention of filmmakers worldwide.
After an unforgettable performance in the Academy Award-winning film The Artist, Uggie became the pet pooch that everyone was talking about.
Fast forward to five months later and the winner of this year's Britain's Got Talent, Pudsey could be next pooch to take on Hollywood, especially as far as Simon Cowell is concerned.

Speaking to The Sun about his excitement to take Pudsey to the States and make him a star the Syco boss expressed that the canine is set to be his 'biggest star yet', and deemed him 'the people's favourite'.
    Speaking to the paper, the 52-year-old tycoon said, 'That little dog is going to become the most famous dog in the world. I genuinely believe he will be warmly received by Hollywood.'
    He continued, 'I can’t wait to see people’s jaws drop when I show them what he can do.'

    Meanwhile, Ashleigh and Pudsey caught up with the Britain's Got Talent website to talk about their plans for the future, and how they planned on spending that all important prize money.
    Realising that she owes a lot the her six-year-old dog, Ashleigh told the site that she plans to splash out on Pudsey and buy him a diamante collar.
    She quipped, 'He loves his bling. I’ll also be treating him to lots of expensive steak!'

    Having noticed the dollar signs in Cowell's eyes, the teenager joked that Pudsey was all hers and said she'd ensure her pooch stayed humble amidst all the hype. 
    Speaking on the fame she hopes to acquire and her immediate plans, she continued, 'We’ll be back soon with a whole array of dazzling dance routines so watch this space!'
    She added, I’d love to make Pudsey the new Lassie.'
    Last night millions of viewers saw Ashleigh and her pet pooch Pudsey dance their way to victory on this year's BGT final.

    The 17-year-old from Wellingborough, Northamptonshire and her six-year-old dog narrowly beat Jonathan Antoine and Charlotte Jaconelli to the title after receiving the most votes from the public, leaving Welsh choir Only Boys Allowed in third place.
    An emotional Ashleigh, who is due to sit her AS Levels next week, was lost for words after finding out she had won the £500,000 prize.
    She gushed: 'A massive thank you to everyone that voted for me.'
