Naughty but nice: Kerry Washington puts a sexy twist on her floral skirt with leather shirt and patent heels at Comic-Con


    As the leading lady in a mainly male cast, Kerry Washington made sure she took advantage of standing out on the red carpet to promote her new film.
The Django Unchained actress stole the attention at the Comic-Con event in San Diego as she attended the press call at the city’s Bayfront Hilton Hotel.
The 35-year-old star showed some sass as she dressed up her demure knee-length floral skirt, featuring a large pleat in the front, with a sleeveless leather black shirt.

As well as showing off her enviable arms, she accessorised her toned pins with a chunky high heel shoes.
 
Washington kept her hair back in a high ponytail and let her side fringe fall over her smoky eyes.
The star finished off the look with a slick of red lipstick, leaving her co-stars to just fall into the background.

She was joined by actors Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Walton Goggins and Don Johnson – who dressed down in a mixture of denim, shirts and plain T-shirts.
The forthcoming motion picture is about former dentist, Dr. King Schultz, who buys the freedom of a slave, Django, and trains him with the intent to make him his deputy bounty hunter. 
Instead, he is led to the site of Django's wife who is under the hands of Calvin Candie, a ruthless plantation owner.

With the help of his mentor, a slave-turned-bounty hunter sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal Mississippi plantation owner.
The group were later joined on the panel by director Quentin Tarantino, who along with the cast, defended the use of the N-word at the press conference - which is apparently used in the movie 150 times, according to The Hollywood Reporter
Foxx said: "In Texas, being a kid, it was racially charged to be honest with you," he said. "Being called n****r as young kid growing up, by grown people, it's something I had to deal with, coming from the south. Having that done to me, I was able to grasp that in the script."
Kerry – whose character under the power of a man played by Leonardo DiCaprio – said: ‘It’s in the humanity, when at that time in [the] eyes of the Constitution, they were only three-fifths of a human being.
‘What makes her strong is her belief in love and that she is deserving of that love in a time where black women weren’t even afforded the luxury of that fantasy.’
