Kimberley Walsh insists she won't let Strictly Come Dancing get in the way of a Girls Aloud reunion... as contestants pose with their partners for the first time

Kimberley Walsh insists she won't let Strictly Come Dancing get in the way of a Girls Aloud reunion... as contestants pose with their partners for the first time

She may be vigorously throwing herself into her training for Strictly Come Dancing.
But Kimberley Walsh has vowed her involvement in the BBC One show won't conflict with her plans to reunite with the rest of Girls Aloud to mark their 10-year anniversary in November.
The 30-year-old singer explained she 'might' perform alongside Cheryl Cole, Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding and Nadine Coyle before Christmas, and has promised to 'work really hard' to fit it all in to her busy schedule.

She told OK! magazine: 'I'll just have to work really hard. Being on Strictly won't hold anything up that we already had planned. I'm going to get in trouble if I say any more!'
Posing alongside her professional partner, Pasha Kovalev, the star flaunted her incredible figure in a skimpy cut-out gold dress.
But Kimberley admitted she initally had reservations about the 'pressure' associated with taking part in a show as big as Strictly.
Battling it out: Denise Van Outen showed off her already impressive skills alongside James Jordan, while Westlife's Nicky Byrne looked every inch the hunk as he posed with partner Karen Hauer

She added: 'It's a really big decision to take part in a show like this. It's so huge and everyone loves it. It's a pressure, isn't it? But I think I made the right decision.'
The Bradford-born beauty posed alongside her fellow Strictly stars in a set of fun new promotional pictures.
Olympic cycling champion Victoria Pendleton flaunted her now trademark washboard abs in a barely-there ensemble as she cosied up to partner Brendan Cole, while Denise Van Outen showed off her already impressive skills as she almost performed the splits alongside professional dancer James Jordan.

But Kimberley's Girls Aloud bandmate Nicola Roberts thinks her chum's amazing bottom will help her to win the coveted mirrorball trophy this year.
She told The Sun newspaper: 'I think with a smile and a bum like Kimberley's she doesn't have any competition. She is amazing. She is an amazing person in general. She's one of my best friends and she's just such a beautiful person.'
And even cricket star Michael Vaughan admitted his eldest daughter would be backing the pop princess.

He joked: 'I rang my kids and told them who was on the show. My eldest daughter, who is eight, said that she would be voting for Kimberley Walsh.'
Despite competing alongside a whole host of stars, including Westlife's Nicky Byrne, TV presenter Fern Britton and supermodel Jerry Hall, Kimberley has received a royal seal of approval from Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, after meeting them at a Clarence House function.
She tweeted: 'Afternoon tea with the Duchess of Cornwall at Clarence House then off to my first dance lesson (sic)!'

She later added: 'Ooh Charles was there too! Camilla said she'll vote for me on 'Strictly'! Ha (sic)!'
But it wasn't just the Strictly girls getting in to the swing of things for their photoshoot.
TV legend Johnny Ball showed off his ballroom skills with partner Aliona Vilani, while former EastEnders actor Sid Owen lifted his diminutive partner Ola Jordan up into the air.

And although Olympian Louis Smith - who is partnered alongside the stunning Flavia Cacace - smiled through the shoot, he admitted his 'bum cheeks' are already very sore from his vigorous training.
He told Reveal magazine: 'After the first bit of training for Strictly, my bum cheeks were so sore. So much pain.
'I spent two weeks in Marbella after the Olympics and I haven't been in the gym for two months.'
