Samia Ghadie gets a head start as she starts practicing for Dancing On Ice..

Streets ahead: Samia Ghadie gets a head start as she starts practicing for Dancing On Ice... and she's already injured herself

Having survived a tram crash in Coronation Street, Samia Ghadie is clearly made of pretty stern stuff.
The soap star was seen getting some practice in as she put her skates on in Manchester ahead of her participation in Dancing On Ice.
Samia, 30, showed nerves of steel, last week, as she still skated despite currently recovering from an operation on her wrist.

The mother-of-one didn't let the injury slow her down as she continued getting a head start in the competition, even though the ITV1 show will not begin until January 2013.
She got off to a wobbly start but improved throughout the session as she eventually found her footing on the ice.
Samia was wrapped up warm for the afternoon training session as she thick grey jumper with a wool gilet.

She teamed the wintry tops with a pair of black trousers as she glided across the ice in a pair of fetching white boots.
However, it wasn't long until Samia's enthusiasm and energy landed her in trouble as she was seen after the session nursing her already bandaged wrist.
Perhaps after taking a fall in the hard cold rink, Samia had to apply some ice to her wrist and call it a day for her training session.
Balancing act: Samia was able to skate by herself without any assistance proving that practice makes perfect

Gold medal winner Luke has been spotted in training, and will find himself going head to head against fellow Olympian, bronze-winning gymnast, Beth Tweddle in the competition.
A source told The Sun newspaper: 'Bosses are determined to get the best line-up they can for this year's show and hope some double Olympic magic will boost ratings.
'Luke was one of the hunks of this year's Games and producers hope he will bring in a whole new audience.'
Bantamweight Champion Luke has been spotted at his local ice rink in Hull by keen eyed fans.
One tweeted: 'Luke Campbell is training at the same ice arena for figure skating as me.'
Also in the frame to star in next year's competition are former rugby player Gareth Thomas, funnyman Joe Pasquale and ex-EastEnders star Matt Lapinskas.
