She said: 'I'm not disappointed at being the first, especially when you're starving. I kind of expected it.'
'It's been a fascinating experience. I actually came here self-important for a few days,  but I'm not now.'
Speaking about Helen Flanagan, who she praised as 'very intelligent', Nadine has revealed she gave her a motivational talk prior to her Bushtucker victory, and seemed to take credit for Helen's trial triumph.

She also predicted that David Haye would be the overall winner.
The MP  was suspended from the Tory party after flying to the jungle without getting permission from David Cameron.
She has angered her Tory colleagues and constituents with her appearance on the show, despite insisting she would be using her time on the series to promote politics.

Not all celebrities were up for the public vote.
The Beds Bug task saw the campmates have to sleep in beds, with the five who stayed in the beds longest  possibly earning immunity from the first eviction.
Unsurprisingly, the task had a gruesome twist.
Each celebrity had to share the bed with a jungle creature.

The five celebrities who accumulated the most amount of time during the challenge and previous Bush Buddy tasks would be spared from the jungle eviction.
They had previously arrived at their challenge in their coloured pyjamas and got into their special beds.

They each received a ranking based on  previous Bush Buddy challenges - with the ranking determining the length of time they had to share their bed with the other creatures. The better the ranking the later the  'bugs' would be delivered.
David decided to leave after 18 minutes before his bugs even arrived.
He said it was because he just wanted some sleep, reasoning: 'No way in a million years am I am going to be able to sleep with creepy crawlies going over me.'
Scorpions and beetles were in Nadine's bed, but she decided to leave after 30 minutes.

Appetising: The omelette was the subject of some moaning, after Eric Bristow didn't like how chef Rosemary barked orders to her campmates
Eggs-ellent meal: Because of Hugo's win they tucked into an ostrich omelette
Helen left after 34 minutes because she saw the snakes coming 'towards her'.
Rosemary managed to even fall asleep in her bed, despite being joined by soldier crabs.
The celebrities were finally informed who would avoid the first public vote.  Ashley Roberts came first, with  Hugo second.
Rosemary, Limahl and Linda rounded out the top five, with Eric, Nadine Dorres, Colin Baker, Charlie, Helen and David facing the first public vote off.
A delighted Ashley said she would place the certificate next to her Pussycat Dolls platinum records.
Earlier on Wednesday's show, viewers saw Hugo winning nine stars during the Bush Tucker trial entitled Savage Sewer

The  task comprised of Hugo entering a 'sewer' chamber and going through six pipes, grabbing the eleven stars that were up for grabs.
Hugo admitted that he had nerves about the task as he has a fear of confined spaces.
He said: 'I can’t even go on the tube in London I hate it so much.'
However, he won nine out of eleven stars after coming across snakes, rats and other jungle creatures in the pipes.
A proud Hugo said before he made his way back to the camp: 'I’m not going to lift a finger for the rest of the day.  I’m going to really, really abuse my success now to make sure I get the best out of my day.'
The subsequent meal from the trial was a feast of ostrich eggs.
They made an omelette, with Hugo declaring it 'the best thing ever cooked in the jungle''.
Rosemary Shrager gave the camp a cooking lesson, but her barking orders at other campmates annoyed a grouchy Eric.
The disgruntled sports star said: 'You don’t have to shout at people for them to listen.'
The impending eviction seems to have got under Eric's skin.

Not only did he have an argument with Rosemary over the omelette, he also jibed Helen Flanagan about her skin, leading others to join in - resulting in Helen breaking down in tears.
There was also tension in the camp when they only managed to win four meals during a trial.
They had to take a musical challenge to win camp food, and guess songs by each playing a note on their bells.
The task began well, with them guessing the first three songs.
However, they only got one more right after failing the rest.

A disappointed Limahl commented: 'You know why we’ve got a Prime Minister running the country cause you’ve got everyone chirping in.  It’s so hard isn’t it?'
Meanwhile, Brian Conley has been released from hospital and is 'recuperating' with his family after being taken ill during filming of I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here.
The entertainer had to leave the show - filmed in the Australian jungle - earlier this week for what ITV said were 'medical reasons'.
His agent issued a statement which said: 'We can confirm Brian Conley has been discharged from hospital and is delighted to be back with his family recuperating.
'He would like to thank everyone for their kind wishes and concern.'
