Lucy Lawless aka Xena Warrior Princess sports pretty pink dress at premiere

Is that you, Xena? Lucy Lawless is worlds away from her Warrior Princess alter-ego as she sports pretty pink dress at premiere

It was 17 years ago that she first sliced her way on to television screens around the world as Xena: Warrior Princess.
However, Lucy Lawless looked a million miles away from her on-screen alter-ego as she attended the premiere of Spartacus: War of the Damned.
The petite 44-year-old looked much less fearsome and more ladylike as she graced the red carpet event on Tuesday in Los Angeles, California.
What a difference: Lucy Lawless looked completely different from her famous role as Xena: Warrior Princess, as she attended a premiere in LA on Tuesday

Lucy wore a short sleeved pink dress that was partly trimmed with lace and she teamed it with a pair of silver glittery peep-toe heels.
The mother-of-three also wore her hair down with some gentle curls in it as she posed on the carpet with Spartacus co-star John Hannah.
Lawless, who was born in New Zealand, became a household name after starring in her most famous role as battle-ready Xena.

With her hair dyed black and her skin tanned for the role she had to keep up a gruelling fitness regime to play the tough-talking heroine.
Xena also helped make Lucy become somewhat of a lesbian icon due to the character's ambiguous relationship with her sidekick Gabrielle.
That reputation became even stronger after she had to perform a graphic lesbian sex scene in Spartacus: Gods Of The Arena.

After 134 episodes and six season, Xena finally ended in 2001, but Lucy has gone on to star in many more popular TV shows including Battlestar Galactica and Parks and Recreation.
Spartacus: War of the Damned is the fourth and final season of the gladiator drama and will begin airing in the US on January 25.
Actor Liam McIntyre, who replaced the late Andy Whitman as Spartacus in season two was the main man at the premiere and he was looking suave in a classic black tuxedo.
