Pregnant Fearne Cotton chooses Tali Lennox as the girl to rock her latest collection for Very.co.uk

Pregnant Fearne Cotton chooses Tali Lennox as the girl to rock her latest collection for Very.co.uk in new campaign

As she's about to give birth to her first child any day now, Fearne Cotton can be excused for deciding not to model her latest collection for very.co.uk.
So while the TV and radio presenter has been busy creating her spring/summer 2013 range for the online retailer, she decided to enlist the help of Tali Lennox to model it while she's on maternity leave.
The collection has a real 1970s vibe, and Fearne says Tali, the model daughter of music icon Annie Lennox, had the perfect attitude to capture the spirit of her designs.

Fearne - who is expecting her first child with Jesse Wood, son of Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood - said: 'Tali is gorgeous and has a great fun attitude in her photos, which really suits the collection.
'Also I love the musical connection as I always have music in mind when I’m designing.'
Sheer fabrics, cute polka dots and landscape prints play a huge part in the collection, and as well as being stylish, Fearne has also made sure the range is affordable for her fans.
Prices range from £12 to £89 while sizes are available from size 8 to 20.
Pieces from Fearne's new collection are available from 21st February with further pieces dropping in March and April.

Q: Did you find it strange not modelling the collection yourself?
A: I love having someone like Tali modelling as I can just concentrate on the creative side and let someone totally gorgeous do the rest.
I’m not sure anyone LOVES photos of themselves so it’s nice to know someone mega photogenic will be making my clothes look even better!

Q: Your collection for Very continues to have a huge following – how does this make you feel?
A: Its soooo wonderful. There would be no point me doing it if girls didn’t like it.
Getting feedback on twitter is so encouraging, knowing it’s made a girl feel confident when going on a date, great walking in to a new job on day one or just treating herself to something she loved.

Q: We’re well into award season now – what are your tips for achieving the perfect red carpet look?
A: Just being comfortable. You can always tell when someone doesn’t. Also I think going for beautiful bold block colours work to make you stand out.
Some of my favourite Hollywood looks have been bright bold statement colour dresses. Michelle Williams wearing a bright yellow frock to the Oscars one year will always standout in my mind.

Q: What piece would work on the red carpet and how would you style it?
A: I think the blue maxi would make a real statement with some jewellery in a complimentary colour. Maybe a statement necklace with bright yellow stones and some metallic shoes catching the light every now and then.
