Performers always seem the ideal people to pass on words of wisdom about how to live a fulfilling life.
So no wonder Jessica Alba was mobbed by fans as she signed copies of her tome The Honest Life in Bethesda, Maryland on Friday.
The Fantastic Four favourite looked like she was raring to go after she pulled up at the venue ahead of her autograph session.

The 32-year-old Sin City actress looked in fine figure in a patterned orange dress and stacked heels.
Jessica has claimed the reason she wrote the money-spinning book was because she was frustrated by the lack of trustworthy information available for parents on how to live healthier and cleaner.
And she certainly seems to have found a niche, as she was met by a sizable queue eager to get their copies of the book dedicated to them by the sex bomb.
According to the blurb she shares strategies for maintaining a clean diet, eco-friendly decor tips,  how to cultivate a daily eco beauty routine, and, perhaps most excitingly of all, how to find a personal style without resorting to yoga pants.

Jessica has credited motherhood with making her confident enough to tackle anything.
She said: '[Having my kids] was the best time of my life. I love it.
'I feel more fearless as an actress after becoming a mother, which is quite liberating.
'I'm ready to take on heavier roles, where before I was nitpicky and afraid of so many things. I don't have that filter anymore."
