Kerry Washington bares toned midriff as she talks weight and babies with TV's hottest leading ladies
She plays glamorous political crisis manager Olivia Pope on the hit television show Scandal.
And like her feisty character, Kerry Washington stole the show on the cover of the June 7 issue of The Hollywood Reporter.
The 36-year-old showed off her toned tummy as she stood in the center, surrounded by some of television's hottest actresses as they sat down for a candid roundtable discussion about their jobs, weight and rude fans.

Girl power: Kerry Washington shows off her midriff on the cover of the latest issue of The Hollywood Reporter with TV's hottest leading ladies
The cover features a gorgeous shot of Washington along with stars Kate Mara (House of Cards), Monica Potter (Parenthood), Connie Britton (Nashville), Elizabeth Moss (Mad Men) and Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad).
The actresses were all dressed in black-and-white and sported crimson red lips as they posed together on the cover and separately in the magazine.
The women chatted together like old friends about a variety of topics as they kicked off this year's Emmy Awards season.
Always gorgeous: The 36-year-old looked elegant in another shot, showing off her slender arms as she casually poses with her hands in her pockets
Potter got some laughs when she admitted to eating Cheetos and taking a few years to lose the 60 or 70 pounds she gained during her pregnancies.
'I had my Spanx on and looked like a damn sausage,' she said of her first audition after having her now seven-year-old daughter Molly. Her agent told her she didn't get the part because she was 'too fat'.
'The weight thing is a crappy thing in this town, you know? So I just ate some Cheez Whiz,' she joked.
Country strong: Nashville star Connie Britton wore her red hair in glamorous waves and added red lipstick for a pop of colour
Leggy beauty: Elizabeth Moss wore a black-and-white baby doll dress as she stared intently into the camera
While Britton said she had never been told to lose weight for a role, she did have a slight run-in with fans at a local shop.
'We were shooting in a grocery store in Nashville, and when they called cut, there were these two older ladies standing there. One of them grabbed me and said, "You look so much bigger on camera!" And I'm like, "Thank you?"'
Moss called it 'the backhanded compliments. "You look skinnier or younger in real life." And it's like, "You know that's not a compliment, right?"'
Screen siren: Monice Potter exuded strength and poise in a black pantsuit
Blonde bombshell: Anna Gunn from Breaking Bad showed her glamorous side in the shoot as she pouted for the camera
Unusual: Kate Mara, sister of Rooney, wore shorts that appeared to have holes cut out and a slim-fitting blazer as she reclined for the picture
Washington, meanwhile, has the added challenge of her race playing a factor in the casting process.
'It’s a little bit different for me because I’ll audition for something and they’ll just decide that they’re not going “ethnic” with a character, which I hear a lot. People have artistic license … that’s what casting is: fitting the right look to the right character.
'Whereas you could maybe lose some weight, there’s not really anything I can do, nor would I want to, about being black.'
Television royalty: The stars also lounged together in a striking group picture in what looked like an industrial setting
