Selena Gomez has private meeting with Anna Wintour during Milan Fashion week

Trying to bag your first Vogue cover, Selena? Ms Gomez has private meeting with Anna Wintour during Milan Fashion week

The Russian leg of her tour was cancelled due to visa issues.
But Selena Gomez didn't let that ruffle her and has made the most of her time in Italy.
The star has been a firm fixture at Milan Fashion Week and on Saturday she was spotted having a private tete a tete with  the grand dame of fashion herself Anna Wintour.

The 21-year-old singer was seen at the Four Seasons hotel in Milan with the American Vogue editor.
The duo were deep in conversation sparking rumours that Selena may one day grace the cover of Vogue.
For any high profile celebrity wishing to cement their A-list status a Vogue cover is not only much sought after but a must.
So it would be no surprise if Selena wanted to join the likes of Angelina Jolie, Madonna and Katy Perry to snag her very own Vogue cover.

The stunning brunette looked every inch the fashionista for her get together with the woman who is arguably one of the most influential people in fashion.
Selena sported a purple all in one jumpsuit which she teamed with a three quarter length dark grey mottled cardigan-coat.
She finished off her look with a pair of sky-high black stiletto heels and covered her eyes with a pair of cat-eye sunglasses with gold arm detail.
Meanwhile the high priestess of fashion looked her usual glamorous self in a deep burgundy and white printed dress with elbow length sleeves and the skirt elegantly falling at her knees.

As usual the Vogue editor wore her hair in her typical classic bob and as always covered her eyes with a pair of dark sunglasses.
Whilst nothing has been said by either side's camp regarding the meeting a relationship with someone as influential as Anna Wintour bodes well for former Disney star Selena who is developing a unique sense of style as she matures.
However given that Miley Cyrus has allegedly been dropped from the December Vogue cover after her twerking antics and rather salacious performance at the VMA's, popstress Selena may want to make sure that she continues to stay on the right side of Ms Wintour if she wishes to see her face on the cover of Vogue.
