Natalie Portman takes the plunge in sexy Marie Claire shoot and reveals why she's swapping her beloved L.A. for Paris

She's been absent from the big screen for two years now, ever since scooping an Oscar for Black Swan and giving birth to her son Aleph.
But Natalie Portman hasn't been resting on her laurels; and is gearing up to start promotional work for a veritable glut of new movies.
The 32-year-old is celebrating her return with a stunning cover and shoot with Marie Claire, and she's also opened up to the magazine about her plans for the future... which include a move to Paris.

'Yeah, we're moving at the end of next year,' she told Marie Claire with an apparent sigh.
'Although obviously we'll be spending a good deal of time there in the meantime, I just really, really love it here.'
'It's one of the most exciting places to be in the world right now. It's really central in terms of the arts. It feels like things are happening in L.A., you know? New York is more where art is bought than where art is made.'
But she added: 'I'm really lucky. When Ben asked me if I wanted to go to Paris, I freaked. Everyone dreams of living in Paris.'
Her first appearance back comes in this month's Thor: The Dark World in which she plays the love interest to Chris Hemsworth's titular character.
She has nothing but high praise for the Antipodean leading man.
Portman observed: 'Chris is, like, one of the greatest people in Hollywood. He’s the kind of actor who’s so charismatic, he must be tired when he goes home.'
She's also filmed two movies with Badlands director Terrence Malick, but is reluctant to discuss the material given the auteur's maverick approach to editing.
'Who knows if I'll even end up in the movies,' Portman told the magazine.
