Abbie Cornish steals the limelight in plunging black gown as she joins her co-stars for RoboCop press conference

I am the PHWOAR: Abbie Cornish steals the limelight in plunging black gown as she joins her co-stars for RoboCop press conference

She plays a grieving wife in the reinvigorated and redefined remake of RoboCop.
And with release dates looming, Abbie Cornish was evidently pleased to be in the spotlight during a press conference ahead of the film’s global distribution on Wednesday afternoon.
The Australian actress turned heads at the Los Angeles event thanks to her plunging black gown, and she beamed as she made her way into a photo-call with co-star Joel Kinnaman.

Abbie’s sleeveless design was all the more distinctive thanks to the wide slash detail on either hip, while its deep neckline afforded her then opportunity to show off a generous portion of cleavage.
The 31-year-old star ensured her partially exposed chest served as a focal point by accessorising with a long, intricate necklace comprised of numerous silver chains.
With her long, flaxen locks natural parted and her porcelain features enhanced with natural cosmetic tones Abbie inevitably stood out next to her casually dressed co-star – who attended the press conference in a pair of jeans.

The actress takes a key role as Clara Murphy, the wife of Detroit police officer Alex Murphy – played by Kinnaman – in Jose Padila’s much anticipated remake of the 1987 original.
With the action transposed to 2028, Kinnaman’s Murphy will be used as a tool to parade a radical new line in home defence systems after he is critically injured by a car bomb.
Transformed into RoboCop, Murphy will defend the city while serving as a prototype for profit hungry conglomerate OmniCorp – who aim to provide every major city with their very own version of the law-giving cyborg.

The film, directed by Brazilian filmmaker Jose Padilha, also stars Gary Oldman, Samuel L. Jackson and Michael Keaton.
RoboCop will launch globally at the end of the month, with Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore and Taiwan the first countries to screen it on January 30.
A UK release will follow on February 7 prior to the US release five days later, on February 12.
