The week before, Jessica Alba was venturing out in Los Angeles, clad in light cardigans. 
But on Monday, the 32-year-old actress was taking to the streets of SoHo in New York, bundled up to brave the near freezing temperatures. 
Nevertheless, she did so in style - channelling edgy chic in a pair of dark jeans emblazoned with studs.

The Fantastic Four star teemed them with a pair of sleek black boots, a black fur trimmed pea coat, and black gloves. 
Gusts of wind tousled her long sunkissed brown hair as she made strides toward her destination. 
The mother-of-two has been a busy woman, with four films set for release this year, while she makes headway on the expansion of her business, the Honest Company. 
The films include the drama Dear Eleanor, the action-comedy Stretch, adventure Barely Lethal, and Sin City: A Dame To Kill For.
Jessica is currently filming How To Make Love Like An Englishman opposite Pierce Brosnan, Salma Hayek and Malcolm McDowell.
Meanwhile, the Honest Company has raised $25 million to develop new product lines and expand into brick-and-mortar stores. 
The Honey star told CNBC her company is now expanding beyond diapers, wipes, baby lotions, and shampoos.

They will sell unisex cribs made of sustainable wood with non toxic paint, priced at $400, and will donate a crib for each one purchased.
Her daughters, five-year-old Honor and two-year-old Haven, are still unsure what their mother does for a living. 
'When it comes to doing movies, Honor will come on set and see that I sit in a trailer and get different hair and make-up done - she thinks I play dress-up for a living,' Jessica told OK! Magazine. 
Jessica also admitted she is happy with her decision to scale back her work commitments when she had children.

'I didn't want to work that much when the kids were younger,' she said. 'I'm very comfortable with having decided to stay at home and not disrupt their lives by being away, or by taking them with me to film sets.'
Furthermore, she will ensure her children get an education.
'They can do anything they want when they graduate from college,' she said. 'I'm going to be very insistent that they take time to study and learn about the world before they choose what they want to do with their lives.
