Jessica Ennis-Hill reveals how you can get fit in style this year with Adidas new fashionable and functional workout gear

  • Sports brand launch spring/summer collection
  • Features flattering fits, pastel shades and striking prints
  • Olympian gives her tips on keeping fit in 2014
If you've decided to make 2014 your year to get fit, you may not be able to reach the Commonwealth Games like heptathlete Jessica Ennis-Hill.
But you can still look as stylish as the Olympian as you strive for your goals thanks to the new range of fashionable yet functional workout and running gear from Adidas.
Jessica, 27, who tied the knot last summer, took time out from her training to model the sports brand's spring/summer range that includes sports bras, hoodies and revamped versions of their popular Boost trainers.

The collection is made using breathable fabrics and 'Climalite' and 'Climacool' technologies to ensure the wearer stays cool while working up a sweat.
Flattering fits, pastel shades and striking prints also make the range a must-have for style-conscious gym-goers.
Jessica showed off her toned body and enviable abs as she modelled the collection along with fellow Olympic gold medallist, cyclist Laura Trott, and GB sprint star Jodie Williams.

The heptathlete had to miss last year's world championships due to injury but is hoping to be back to winning ways at this summer's Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
The championship is one of her major targets this year and she recommends other people set goals in order to maintain their New Year's resolution to get fit.
She told MailOnline: 'One of the best ways to make sure you reach for your trainers and get moving is to set yourself a clear goal of what you want to achieve, both for the session ahead as well as a longer term plan.

'Knowing what you are working towards helps focus the mind, and in turn your body. You can also then also tackle the end goal through a series smaller steps and milestones - giving you a sense of achievement along the way.'
The Olympian, who trains in Sheffield under the guidance of coach Toni Minichiello, also recommends not going it alone when striving to get into shape in 2014.

She said: 'I also really recommend training with friends. I have a group of girl friends who I regularly train with - it helps motivate you, makes it more fun and gives you a sense of team spirit.
'You're more likely to step out into the cold if you've made a commitment to your friends… plus they can be there to physically drag you out!'
