She is undoubtedly one of the sexiest pop stars on the planet.
But it seems that Shakira, 36, has a new and refreshing attitude when it comes to feeling the pressure to slim down for her job.
Appearing in the February issue of Glamour Magazine, the Colombian singer-songwriter is asked about whether she has received criticism from fans for being too thin.
Her hips DO lie! Shakira, 36, smoulders in the February issue of Glamour Magazine - out now - but claims to have given up diet and exercise
'At the beginning. But my man, Gerard, prefers meat over bone,' she reveals, referring to her boyfriend - Spanish football player Gerard Piqué - with whom she has a son, Milan.
'He doesn’t like too skinny. [Laughs.] That takes pressure off. I already have a lot to worry about.'
'This month I’m not exercising because I have an album to finish and I have a baby. And I like these pastries in front of me.'
However, despite claiming to have ditched diet and exercise, the new mother looks her usual stunning self in the accompanying shoot.
