Her performance may have been later in the night, however Alexandra Burke made sure to make an impression from the offset when she arrived at The Savoy Hotel in London on Thursday.
The singer opted for a showstopping fishtail gown as she walked the red carpet ahead of WellChild's Helping Hands charity dinner.
With her hair tied back into a voluminous ponytail, the 25-year-old undoubtedly turned heads in the number, which featured a plunging design at the back.

Tweeting ahead of the bash, the former X Factor star wrote: 'Very excited for tonight - to perform at the #HelpingHands dinner! @WellChild @TheSavoyLondon'.
    Her floor-length gown, which clung in all the right places, included a glamorous pattern and statement shoulders.
    Not content with just the dress, Alexandra added a pair of statement drop earrings and a chunky watch to complete her look.

    Also at the bash was Rod Stewart and his wife Penny Lancaster, who enjoying a night off from looking after their two young children.
    While the rocker opted for a dark suit and neck scarf, the model wowed in a floral dress, complete with tiered frills along the front.
    The 43-year-old toughed up her look with a black leather jacket and silver cross, before finishing off with a metallic clutch and pointy heels.

    Away from the cameras, Fran Newman-Young and her Made in Chelsea costar Francesca Hull stepped out in very different outfits for their night.

    Also at the event, which raises money for WellChild nurses who provide support to sick children in the UK, was Laura Hamilton, her boyfriend Alex Goward and actress Sarah Barrand.
