She survived another week on The X Factor after proving victorious in the sing-off against eight piece strong band Stereo Kicks.
Smiling as she put the stress of finding herself in the bottom two to one side, Lauren Platt was in good spirits on Monday afternoon as she headed to a recording studio in London.
Ready to get on with the new week, the 17-year-old singer looked relaxed as she geared up for this weekend's semi-final.

Dressed in an on trend ensemble, Lauren rocked a pair of heeled workman boots with white jeans and a checked top.
Keeping warm as she braved the winter chill, Platt wore a contrast khaki coat with a faux fur scarf.
Wearing her ombré hair down, the Essex songstress kept her makeup simple as she accessorised with a pair of gold hoop earrings.

Following Sunday's live show which saw Lauren granted a spot in the semi-final after the judges' votes was put to deadlock, the wannabe popstar took to Twitter to thank her supporters.  
She tweeted: 'I couldn't thank you all enough for voting and getting me past deadlock! I love you guys to the moon and back'.
Happy to be another step closer to winning the competition, she added: 'Thank you to the amazing people standing by me and just know that I'll always try my best to make you proud'.

Fleur East was also in tow for the recording session and as she made her way inside the venue she stopped to take pictures with fans.
Showing off her star quality, the 27-year-old wore a pair of heels with skin tight trousers, a printed T-shirt and leather jacket. 
Meanwhile axed act Stereo Kicks made their rounds on various television shows disclosing what the future holds for them after receiving the boot.
