But as Emily Blunt took to the red carpet at London's Curzon Mayfair for the premiere of Into The Woods on Wednesday evening she was every inch the leading lady.
Proving to be anything but her last name, the 31-year-old actress dazzled in a white stud in embellished asymmetrical mid length dress.

Wearing her ombré hair down in a centre parting, which was styled in loose curls, Emily was preened to perfection as she struck several poses for the waiting cameras.
Standing tall in a pair of nude heeled sandals, the British star sleeveless number was beautified with studs which transitioned from silver to gold.
Keeping the metallic theme going, Blunt rocked a rose gold manicure and pedicure as she accessorised with various styles of rings and drop earrings.

On the red carpet, Emily was joined by her co-star James Corden, who had her in fits of laughter throughout the photocall.
Making a dapper showing at the screening, Corden, 36, looked suave in navy two piece suit which he teamed with a coordinated knitted tie, white shirt and chocolate brogues.
James, who will be relocating to Los Angeles for his new show The Late Late Show With James Corden, spent the evening in the company of his wife Julia.
Cast members Meryl Streep, Daniel Huttlestone and Tracey Ullman were also in tow.

Into The Woods is about a witch [Streep] who tasks a childless baker [Corden] and his wife [Blunt] with procuring magical items from classic fairy tales to reverse the curse put on their family tree.
The Disney film, which was directed by Rob Marshall, also stars Johnny Depp, Christine Baranski, Chris Pine and Anna Kendrick.
Earlier on in the day, Emily appeared on This Morning in which she discussed her nerves at having to sing in the movie.

Talking about working with Streep once again - the pair starred alongside one another in The Devil Wears Prada, Blunt admitted she had some fears.
'I've known Meryl almost ten years, she is such a friend to me but she can still be intimidating.'
