Vanessa Hudgens became an immediate household name after appearing in 2006's hugely successful High School Musical.
And she's now transporting her singing and dancing skills on the stage, taking on the titular role in a revival of Gigi at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.
The brunette beauty, 26, was all smiles as she exited through the stage door after the show's opening night on Friday - and she looked decidedly chic for her big moment.

The actress wrapped up in a black faux fur coat, which she teamed with black over-the-knee socks and a pair of black leather ankle boots.
With a hat resting on her voluminous raven locks, the star smiled and signed autographs for fans after her performance in the show, which will run for four weeks in DC before moving to New York City's Broadway.
The day before, Vanessa took to her Instagram account to upload a video of herself performing the Gigi number The Night They Invented Champagne.

Holding a bottle of bubbly, she sang and danced her way around a kitchen in the fun-filled clip, which she captioned: 'The night they invented champagne...@gigionbroadway here I come #TOMORROW.'
The show is based on the 1944 novel by French author Colette, originally produced for the stage in 1951 by Anita Loos with Audrey Hepburn – then an unknown actress – taking the lead.
Taking to her Twitter account in December, Vanessa gave fans their first look at her dressed as the titular character in a sweeping black gown.
