Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson spring into action as Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver in new trailer for Avengers: Age Of Ultron

The Avengers' team looks set to become a little bit bigger, according to the latest trailer released by Marvel for the upcoming Age of Ultron sequel.
The original crew - Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor, Black Widow, and Hawkeye - were all still on board, but Thursday's trailer teased audiences with two new additions, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Quicksilver (Aaron Taylor-Johnson).
Explosions, clever dialog, and even the villainous Ultron himself all appeared in the most action-packed Avengers: Age Of Ultron trailer yet.

The usual Avengers fare was present in the video - quips from Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) and his allies, dramatic music, and explosions - but the highlights were the newest characters.
Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are super-powered siblings joining the team in the upcoming movie.
Although initially complicated characters with leanings toward the villainous Ultron (voiced by James Spader), the trailer made it clear that both become true Avengers in the end.

'If you step out that door, you're an Avenger,' Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner) told the European heroes in a tense moment featured in the video.
Their value to the Avengers team was immediately clear, thanks to Quicksilver's super speed and Scarlet Witch's magic.
While Scarlet Witch remained silent, letting her magic do the talking in the trailer, Quicksilver revealed a heavily accented line of dialog.

'You didn't see that coming?' the man asked a foe in a dismissive tone.
Sarcastic commentary was standard for many of the Age Of Ultron characters seen in the trailer.
Tony, for example, was his usual snarky self as he attempted to admit someone else might be in charge.
Clever: There was not a lot of dialog in the trailer, but much of it - especially from Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark (above) - involved quips

'I just pay for everything... And design everything, make everyone look cooler,' he pointed out.
A huge action sequence even allowed the usually earnest Captain America (Chris Evans) to get in on the humour, as he sheepishly offered an explanation after throwing a motorcycle into an enemy's Jeep.
'That just slipped,' the most wholesome of the Avengers said.

The video was released just days after Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver, aka Wanda and Pietro Maximoff, got their first standalone Avengers posters.
Appearing on Friday, each of the new posters showed the character exhibiting his or her power.
Elizabeth, 26, gave her Scarlett Witch a wary, almost scared look as she worked magic between her hands.

An old-fashioned background of mountains and stone-walled buildings rose up behind her.
Auburn hair long and loose, the Witch was of course dressed in scarlet clothing.
As was fitting for a hero with super-speed, Quicksilver was given a more dynamic pose for his poster.
Dressed in blue and grey, 24-year-old Aaron almost looked to be exploding out of the frame, with small pieces of shrapnel surrounding him.

A more urban setting was visible, complete with what looked to be flying Ultron robots in the air behind Quicksilver.
These two new posters joined the seven Avenger character images that had previously been released by Marvel to promote the upcoming comics-inspired sequel.
Avengers: Age Of Ultron premieres in North America on May 1.
