Mollie King, Una Foden and Vanessa White 'working on solo careers away from The Saturdays'

Forever Is Over? Mollie King, Una Foden and Vanessa White 'working on solo careers away from The Saturdays'

They insisted last year that the release of their Greatest Hits didn't signal the end of The Saturdays.
But a new report suggests the girl group are going their separate ways, temporarily, as three members work on their solo careers.
After eight years with the band, Una Foden, Mollie King and Vanessa White are all said to be planning to release their own music later this year, with insiders telling The Mirror that the girls have been in the studio in recent weeks.

Thirty-three-year-old mum-of-two Una is thought to be the closest to securing a solo record deal thanks to her acoustic vibes.
Bandmate Vanessa, 25, meanwhile is thought to be headed in a very different musical direction with her solo material, drawing inspiration from Rihanna for an R&B feel.
Twenty-seven-year-old Mollie is sticking to her pop roots with insiders claiming the diehard Britney fan has been working on disco style tracks, and like Una is also close to signing with a record label.

The trio's bandmates Rochelle Humes and Frankie Bridge have got their own busy schedules, with the report claiming mum-of-one Rochelle is planning to focus on her TV work.
The star has already guest hosted ITV show This Morning with JLS husband Marvin a number of times and can currently be seen co-hosting new series Ninja Warrior on the channel.
Frankie meanwhile is expecting her second child with footballer husband Wayne Bridge in the coming weeks, with the 2014 Strictly Come Dancing contestant already mum to one-year-old son Parker.

While Mollie, Una and Vanessa are all thought to be planning careers away from the band, The Saturdays are still signed to Polydor, with an insider explaining that this isn't the end for the group.
'Una, Mollie and Vanessa are all really excited and a bit nervous about releasing their solo material, but it's been a long time in the pipeline,' they claim.
'The girls are still a band, but they're all happy to work on their own solo projects. It means there's no animosity or frustration between them – it's a set-up which works really well.'
A representative for the band have been contacted by Mail Online for comment.

The report echoes comments made by Mollie in an interview with the Irish Independent in March, where she revealed that the band will 'be recording another album after Christmas so we are doing our own things this year.'
Fans were left worried about the girl group's future last year when the fivesome released their Greatest Hits collection and embarked on a tour of the album - a move which usually signals the end of the road.
The group were quick to reassure fans though that they hadn't broken up but they faced disappointing sales for their last single What Are You Waiting For?, which debuted at number 38 on the UK Singles Chart, their lowest charting single to date.
