Wearing a signature wrap dress, Lorraine Kelly began her ITV breakfast show in typical demure style this morning, but by the times the credits rolled, the 55-year-old presenter had stripped down to her bikini and was dancing to Maroon 5 anthem 'Moves Like Jagger'.  
Despite expressing some nerves about appearing in her bikini live on air, the TV presenter and national treasure looked incredible in her two-piece swimwear flaunting a healthy and toned figure.
The presenter was introducing a group of volunteers, who had lost weight after following the show's Bikini Promise diet, and also flaunted their figures in beachwear.

Standing by the banks of the Thames, she introduced the women wearing a chiffon robe but then ditched it before throwing her arms in the air and strutting her stuff to the music to close the show.
Talking about her looking and feeling good, Lorraine exclaimed: ‘It’s all about confidence from within isn't it!’

The Bikini Promise, which launched on Lorraine in June, asked viewers to make a promise to themselves to be fit, healthy and wear their bikinis with confidence no matter what their age, shape and size.
For the plan, Sally Bee provided healthy recipes with fresh, affordable produce that was quick and easy to cook, while Maxine Jones provided exercises which were easy to learn and follow at home.

The three Bikini Promise volunteers - Kerry, Jane and Jacqui - were flown to Mauritius last month for a masterclass in exercise and healthy eating. They have been following The Bikini Promise plan throughout June and July, working hard to feel confident in their bikinis. 
To launch her Bikini Promise campaign at the beginning of last month, the mum-of-one donned a pretty halter neck two-piece on the cover of Woman magazine.
The Glaswegian host decided to shun the figure-altering, wrinkle-removing power of Photoshop in favour of flaunting her natural figure.

'The thing about our bikini pictures is that they haven't been touched at all, so what you see is what you get,' she told Woman.
'I'm 55, I've got a scar on my leg and a bit of a mum tum, but I am fine with that.'
Lorraine admitted she was 'a bit nervous' before the shoot and said it wasn't something she would even have considered doing in the past.
'It was a big deal for me and I wouldn't have been able to do it a couple of years ago,' she told the weekly women's magazine.

Bubbly host Lorraine puts her age-defying figure down to Zumba - she does the Latin-inspired dance workout three times a week with instructor Maxine Jones.
'I struggled with my weight over the years and I would never have felt good enough to pose in my bikini in my twenties or thirties,' she said. 
'But you get to the stage in life where you accept your flaws.'

'For a while after my horse riding accident a few years back, I'd cover up on the beach with a sarong because I had my scar, but now I feel more confident,' she revealed.
Lorraine also said 'women put too much pressure on themselves' and that 'a bit of fake tan' is perfect for giving an instant boost.
Despite her new found confidence, Lorraine said she's not 'strutting around in my bikini in the house' but she wants to encourage other women to improve their self-esteem.

The Bikini Promise campaign encouraged women to follow a five-week diet and exercise plan to make them fit and healthy and to allow them to wear a bikini with confidence no matter their age, shape or size.
With the help of nutritionist Sally Bee and dance instructor Maxine Jones, The Bikini Promise will help viewers to feel good about themselves without having to look like a supermodel. 
Lorraine, who is married to Steve Smith and has a 21-year-old daughter called Rosie, was praised by her Good Morning Britain colleague Susanna Reid after the magazine shoot.
She wrote on Twitter that Lorraine looked 'stunning' and was a 'natural beauty'.
