'Superman, Wonder Woman, Tarzan... and Bruce Lee:' Walking Dead's Sonequa Martin-Green reveals her zombie apocalypse team

Sonequa Martin-Green may have just come up with the best idea ever for season seven of The Walking Dead.
The 30-year-old, who plays Sasha in the hit AMC show, was asked by Good Housekeeping to name her dream team to face a zombie apocalypse - and she picked a doozy.
'I would say, Superman number one. OK, so let’s go with Superman, Wonder Woman, and Tarzan. Let’s go with the three of them,' she said, before jumping in with a fourth. 'Oh no, and Bruce Lee!'

The actress explained that the Justice Leaguers were called up for their invincibility, but didn't offer an explanation on why she needed two.
Bruce Lee was sensibly included to teach self defence, but less obvious was Tarzan's ability 'to grow vegetables'.
'Tarzan knows the land. He knows nature, he knows how to grow vegetables. He understands - he’s from the jungle. He’d have to learn a little bit about the terrain of Georgia, or actually of DC, or wherever it is we would happen to be, but you know, he would be our nature expert,' she justified.
Back in the real world, the Once Upon A Time star has a very different dream team: her style crushes.
'I have style crush on a few different people, its hard to pin point one person but... there are things i loved about - I wanna say old school Rihanna but its not really that long ago - but when she had the really short cut I'd like a lot of the pieces that she would use,' she revealed.
'Janelle Monáe I like how sharp and sophisticated her style is,' she continued. 'But If I had to pick one: I'd say Lupita. Lupita is gorgeous. She's always just right.'
Fancy that: The actress also revealed her style crushes: Lupita Nyong'o, Janelle Monáe and 'old-school Rihanna'

The mother-of-one gave birth to her first son in January of this year, which meant she spent the entire filming schedule of Walking Dead's season five battling zombies while pregnant.
'Season 5 was a huge workout all on its own, because I was pregnant the entire season,' she said. 'I was able to do it, thank goodness, but that was pretty crazy.
'The craziest thing was sitting in water for 12 hours straight. I mean, that’s even hard to say because pretty much everything we do is crazy, but there was an episode with these waterlogged walkers in this basement. Now, we got to go out for potty breaks and lunch and whatnot, but for the most part we were in that water so yeah, that was crazy.'

Having Kenric, named after his father, has been a 'divine' experience for the TV star.
'I just melt when you mention the fact that I’m a mother now. I feel like the experience has been so profound and enlightening. It’s made me see my husband in such a deeper way,' she said.
'It’s really been divine having someone come from you and being responsible for their livelihood, for nurturing them. My heart just melts as I speak about it and frankly I think words can’t really describe it when I try,' she added.
'It’s almost going to make me cry. When I try to describe it, I don’t know what to say. It’s inexpressible. It’s amazing.'
