What does Chloe Grace Moretz REALLY think about Taylor Swift? Teen reveals she was invited to join squad

So, what does Chloe Grace Moretz REALLY think about Taylor Swift? Teen reveals she was invited to join squad but interview turns awkward when pressed for more details

Chloe Grace Moretz is riding the Hollywood wave all the way to the top, she hopes.
But that doesn't mean she's the sort of person to just hang with someone because they're famous.
The actress, 19, has revealed to Complex magazine she was invited to join Taylor Swift's Squad, thanks to her best friend Selena Gomez who's Taylor's BFF, but hints that she actually turned down the chance.

Chloe is featured in the new issue of Complex and when asked if she'd been invited to join the likes of Gigi Hadid, Karlie Kloss, Kendall Jenner and Cara Delevingne, she responded with a 'yes.'
However, she wouldn't be drawn further.
She simply added: 'She’s a very talented person.'
Her Squad: Taylor likes to surround herself with a posse of female pals whom she calls her Squad, and they often appear with her on stage or in her music videos like Bad Blood

In the magazine interview, the teen actress decried 'squadism' saying it fosters 'exclusivity' and 'cliques'.
That suggests she likely turned down the chance to hang with Taylor and her group of galpals, especially as she's never been pictured with the pop superstar or her squad.

Chloe clealry knows her own mind and that's also clear when it comes to talking about the trajectory of her Hollywood career.
'I want to be America’s sweetheart,' she says in the Complex interview. 'I want to be beloved. I want to be an indie queen, but I want people to really love me and what I’ve done and let me be a part of their lives at home.'
Asked who she admires and whose career she'd like to mirror, she states Julia Roberts, who long ago earned the title of America's Sweetheart, or Sandra Bullock.

Both have married comedy and drama successfully during their long careers and both have won Academy Awards.
Chloe, however, adds she's cautious when it comes to plotting what she'll do next and she's aware she's had a few misses as well as a few hits.
'I don’t want to win an Oscar right now. I don’t. I don’t deserve it. Not yet,' she tells the magazine.
'For me right now it’s all about building my career, building my brand. If critics catch onto it and want to give me acclaim, then cool.'

Chloe first got noticed after being cast as Ryan Reynolds daughter in the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror.
She went on to have roles in Big Momma's House 2, (500) Days Of Summer, played Hit Girl in two Kick-Ass movies and the lead role in the 2013 remake of Carrie.
She's also had recurring roles on the TV series Dirty Sexy Money and the sitcom 30 Rock.
She's recently been wrapping up reshoots for Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising and also wrapped production on the drama Brain On Fire, in which she replaced Dakota Fanning who dropped out.

She's no stranger to the gossip pages either with rumored romances with Brooklyn Beckham, son of David and Victoria, and also Chance the Rapper.
She denies having dated either of them, and says she just wants to have fun right now.
'I want to be with someone who’s adventurous and wants to go do something,' Chloe said. 'Don’t take me to Nobu and get me nigiri. I’m OK. I can take myself to Nobu. I don’t need someone to take me to Nobu.'
Just wants to have fun: The 19-year-old, pictured in Paris on March 1, denied romances with Brooklyn Beckham and Chance the Rapper, and said she's not looking for anything serious right now

Up next is the starring role in Disney's live action remake of The Little Mermaid.
And with Chloe on board, it's not going to be the old-fashioned 'girl with a tail gives up her self for the man she loves.'
'We want to make this good for girls,' the actress said.
'We can’t make this regressive tale in a modern world. We’re going to flip it on its head. It’s going to feel good for women and men in the sense that it’s not just appropriating feminism, and it’s not leaning on regressive stereotypes.'
