Strictly Come Dancing presents their fourth Strictly celebrity… Ore Oduba

Presenting our fourth Strictly celebrity… Ore Oduba

TV Presenter Ore Oduba is the next celebrity to be given a sporting chance on Strictly 2016.
Best known for bringing us the latest sports news on BBC Breakfast and 5 Live, the Strictly dance floor is brand new territory for Ore. After receiving the call confirming his place, Ore says he was a “jibbering mess” because he's always dreamed of taking part.
When contemplating the glitter-filled journey ahead, Ore is most looking forward to “learning from the best.” He explained: “It’ll be such a challenge to learn a brand new dance and perform it live in front of millions on Saturday nights. I’m really looking forward to being thrown well out of my comfort zone.”
Of course, Ore will not be the first of the BBC Breakfast family to strut their stuff in the Strictly ballroom. BBC Breakfast Weather Presenter Carol Kirkwood’s sunny spell on Strictly last year still shines bright in his memory:“Our Carol brightened up our Saturday nights as well as our weekday mornings last year... She is a meteorological phenomenon!”
And what about his dancing history? According to Ore, he is "always moving to music” but would rarely call it ‘dancing!’ He also caught the dancing bug when taking part for Let’s Dance for Comic Relief in 2013.
With his dream to appear on Strictly becoming a reality, Ore is ready to give it his all: “I'm more competitive with myself than anyone else… always strive for perfection, even if it's completely unrealistic.”
