Gorgeous: The catwalk queen, who is not appearing in any of this year's cinematic projects, commanded attention on the carpet in her quirky floor-length gown, of unconventionally stylish red quilted material
Intricate: It pulled into delicate spaghetti straps and cut straight across her bust in scalloped detailing
Flattering: the frock then hugged her slender frame at the bodice before cinching in at her famously petite waist, and expanding out into stiff pleats to the floor

Making the sophisticated look more sexy however, the dress then plunged daringly low at the back to leave much of her smooth, sun-kissed skin and enviably slim figure on show, as she posed fiercely for cameras.
Keeping all eyes on her show-stopping ensemble, she swept her brunette tresses into a slick high ponytail, and accentuated her naturally striking facial features with a classic smoky eye and bold red lip.

The gown cut into a simple but stylish strapless bodice, which clung to her svelte frame before gently cascading out into a full puffy skirt, complete with lengthy train.
Only making the look more glamorous, the Umbrella singer then layered a matching shawl jacket on top , which she draped casually and effortlessly over her shoulders to flash her decolletage to all as she posed with attitude.

Wanting to make a fashionably late arrival as the film's leading lady, model and actress Lily Collins hit the carpet next - showing no signs of stress or fatigue from her undoubtedly traumatising day, which saw her flick Okja heavily booed and erupting into 'riots' at its screening earlier on.

The 28-year-old exuded glamour and elegance in a stunning white gown, which extended into a lengthy chiffon train behind her as she walked the famous red carpet.
The British beauty's gown featured a classic sweetheart neckline, which teased at her delicate cleavage, before a Grecian-style ruched off-the-shoulder strap was layered delicately on top, across her slender frame.
Skimming her famous model physique with its shimmering white material, the sensational gown then fell softly into a flowing skirt to the floor - with lines of glitter interspersing the pleats and a subtle but sexy split rising up her leg on one side.
Lily, who is the daughter of musician Phil Collins, kept her tresses pin straight and added minimal make-up to her face barring a glamorous slick of eyeliner, to prove her enviably radiant complexion as she waves and smiled softly for cameras.

Despite the dramas of Okja's first screening that day, Lily appeared comfortable and in good spirits as she posed with her co-stars on the carpet - including suited and booted Jake Gyllenhaal and Paul Dano, as well as Tilda Swinton, who matched her in an equally striking white frock.
Tilda, known for her famously androgynous style, was the picture of class in her retro white gown, which featured statement shoulder pads and a tight satin band at the middle, to cinch in at her statuesque frame.
The 56-year-old maintained her famous bleach blonde bob hairstyle on the carpet, sweeping the top section into a statement style curl to mirror the dress's 80s vibe, before drawing attention to her youthful complexion with just a pink lip.
Adding a lone silver ear cuff on her left ear in a signature trendy touch, the Burn After Reading star, who plays the villain in Okja, oozed confidence and elegance as she celebrated the project with the cast on the carpet - despite the film being met with criticism due to its production by streaming service Netflix.

Next to arrive was Hollywood great Julianne Moore, 56, who truly dazzled in a glittering black down, embellished with silver sequin half moon shapes all over.
The Still Alice star flattered her sensational womanly figure in the floor-length frock, which remained incredibly classy by falling into long sleeves and pulling in to a high neck - before it cut into a saucy split at the side to reveal her long legs and white slip underneath.
However she then accessorised with a chunky black leather belt at her middle, to emphasise her petite waist to all, as she beamed widely for cameras.
She kept her famous fiery locks in loose, tousled waves and opting for minimal make-up, to let her natural beauty and glowing skin shine through, before tying her look together with a co-ordinating pair of silver drop earrings, which glinted under the lights as she posed.

Next adding to the glamour was Zero Dark Thirty star and a judge on this year's Cannes jury, Jessica Chastain, who added a touch of vibrancy in a beaded lilac gown.
The 40-year-old channeled her inner 1920s flapper girl in the show-stopping purple dress, embellished with delicate white pearls all over before cascading into bold fringing - which gorgeously swept across the carpet as she walked.
The dress plunged into a scoop neckline, to give a glimpse of her ample cleavage to all, and left plenty of her stunning porcelain skin on show with its tiny straps as she paraded her stunning figure for cameras.
Keeping all eyes on her dramatically different dress, Jessica transformed her curled red locks from yesterday's events into a sleek and straight style, and opted for a subtle brown smoky eye and pink lip, to accentuate her natural beauty as she smiled on the carpet.

The Chocolat star, 53, gave the young whippersnappers on the carpet a run for their money in the daring dress, which saw a plunging halterneck number layered beneath a wide-sleeved and high neck chiffon top.
Giving a glimpse of her womanly figure through its semi-sheer material and cinched in waist, the stunning white skirt then skimmed her elegant figure to the floor, where it was met with a small train which she hoisted up as she walked the carpet.

Lily Collins plays Red in the Bong Joon Ho directed flick while Tilda Swinton undertakes the role of villainous Lucy Mirando opposite Jake's Dr. Johnny Wilcox and Paul Dano's, Jay.
The film has been under much scrutiny since it was revealed that it would be one of 19 films competing at the renowned film festival after Netflix announced it wouldn't be brought to French cinemas.
And it seems the furore is certainly not dying down however - after the film screening earlier on Friday was stopped for a techincal glitch and audience members booed when its logo appeared at the beginning.
The movie was jeered when its logo first appeared and there were further boos when the film stopped five minutes in, after what the festival described as 'a technical incident'.

Film journalists tweeting about the 'chaos' in the screening room said riots were about to break out - with IndieWire's David Ehrlich stating: 'Okja starts, huge boos at Netflix logo. Then film plays in wrong aspect ratio and Grand Lumiere almost rioted. Movie stopped.'
While French journalist Elena Lazic added: 'That didn't start well. Screen not open properly, significantly cropped at top. 20 riotous minutes before projectionist stopped projection.'
According to the BBC's Laura Turner: 'There was shouting from the upper seats and it became apparent the aspect ratio was wrong, so they restarted it after about 10 minutes.
'The second time around the audience booed the Netflix logo again. But there was also some cheering at the same time and a warm round of applause at the end.'
However the festival quickly issued an apology, insisting the error was technical and not anti-Netflix sabotage - with the film restarted shortly afterwards, and receiving a round of applause at the end.

Director of Okja, Bong Joon Ho, said he 'loved working with Netflix', and admitted it was a luxury to be given such an enormous budget - while Cannes jury chair Pedro Almodovar agreed earlier this week that films should have to be screened in cinemas, if producers wanted them to be considered.
A statement from the Cannes Film Festival told MailOnline: 'A technical incident disrupted the beginning of the screening of Bong Joon-ho’s film, OKJA, which was shown this morning at a press screening at the Lumière Auditorium.
'The session was interrupted for a few minutes but was then able to carry on as normal.
'This incident was entirely the responsibility of the Festival’s technical service, which offers its apologies to the director, his teams, the producers and the audience at the showing.'
Okja is one of two Netflix productions that has caused controversy this year - with The Meyerowitz Stories, starring A-List names Ben Stiller, Dustin Hoffman, Emma Thompson and Adam Sandler, coming under fire for the same reason.

This year's festival however runs from May 17-28, and includes 49 films in total - with Marion Cotillard's flick Isamel's Ghosts being the first to premiere.
Headed up by Volver director Pedro Almodóvar, members of this year's judging panel from the Feature Films category include actors Jessica Chastain, Will Smith and Fan Bingbing, as well as directors Paolo Sorrention and Gabriel Yared, of The English Patient fame.
Making this year's event more exciting is the fact that it marked its 70th year of running, which luxury jeweller Chopard is commemorating by creating a diamond-set edition of the coveted Palme d'Or - the highest prize that can be won at Cannes.
Known for her work on popular films such as Kill Bill and Pulp Fiction, actress Uma Thurman has been named as the President in the Un Certain Regard arena - awarding a top prize and up to two other awards for show-stopping pieces of smaller budget, indie cinema.
Aside from films however, A-list stars are set to attend a number of star-studded bashes throughout the festival including the AmFar Gala at Hôtel du Cap-Eden-Roc and Chopard's annual bash at Port Pierre Canto, co-hosted by Rihanna.

Also in attendance was French actress Juliette Binoche, who followed Lily, Tilda and Rihanna's lead in another glamorous floor-length gown of bright white.
