More red carpet photos from 2014 BAFTAs including Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt hit the red carpet in matching tailored suits... as radiant Lupita Nyong'o injects a welcome bolt of colour in emerald green silk at the 2014 BAFTAs

The only thing distinguishing Brad Pitt from Angelina Jolie was an unbuttoned collar as the couple arrived on the red carpet at the 2014 EE BAFTAs in matching black suits on Sunday night.
Angelina, 38, locked arms with her handsome 50-year-old husband, while sporting an open-buttoned collar and loose bow tie as they joined a star-studded crowd at London's Royal Opera House.
The LA-born actress teamed her look with a black blazer by Saint Laurent, a pair of loose black trousers and black stiletto heels, while Brad opted for the exact same outfit, with just some slight adjustments.

He tied up his dickie bow, buttoned up his black Valentino blazer and wore a pair of patent brogues to make sure that his look was slightly different.
Brad was sure to be excited to hear the outcome for his multi-nominated film, 12 Years A Slave.
But it was their unusual, matching ensembles which was stealing the limelight ahead of the awards announcements on Sunday evening.
And it seems that black was the colour of choice for most of the attendees, with both men and women opting to play it safe rather than stand out from the crowd.

Elsewhere, Lupita Nyong'o and Leonardo DiCaprio led the glittering A-list attendees at the 2014 EE BAFTAs at London's Royal Opera House on Sunday night.
The 30-year-old actress, who has received nods in the Best Supporting Actress category and the hotly-contested Rising Star award, positively dazzled as she hit the red carpet in a striking emerald green silk fishtail-hem gown by Christian Dior.
