'You know I'm your favourite diva, Simon!' Nicole Scherzinger oozes glamour in glittering dress as she kicks off X Factor 'diva week' with a medley of classics

The X Factor welcomed it's third live show on Saturday with diva themed week.
And who better to kick things off than sassy judge Nicole Scherzinger, who immediately took hold of the mic and belted out a medley of classics while Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Sharon Osbourne headed to their seats.
The talented mentor, 38, wowed the audience, but it wasn't long before Simon blasted her for her lack of mentoring focus after her first act Ryan Lawrie was slated for his performance.

Nicole looked sensational in a floor-length sparkling silver gown as she took on Chaka Khan's I'm Every Woman and Aretha Franklin's Respect, before declaring, 'You know I'm your favourite diva, Simon!
Looking like a true diva, she sent Twitter wild as she got the show off to an energetic start before her first act Ryan - the first of ten - performed Adele's Rolling Deep after being given advice by A-list guest, John Legend.
However, the 20-year-old Scottish star, who was mistaken as 17 by Sharon was slated by the judges for his efforts.

Louis clearly mentioned he wasn't a fan of the performance while Simon cheekily confessed he could see where Nicole's attention went this week - citing her vivacious show-opener.
Next to perform was Gifty Louise, one of Simon's girls who dedicated her emotional delivery of Sam Smith's Lay Me Down to her mother who unfortunately passed away when she was young.
She was praised for the number with Sharon crediting her 'likability' before Louis offered his fashion critique by condemning her new blonde locks.

Sharon's act Relley c was up next and despite losing her voice during the week, delivered a spectacular version of Natural Woman and was praised by Nicole for being a 'fighter' and 'survivor'.

After softly singing How Will I Know, Sharon and Simon gave her a standing ovation while Nicole felt like she needed the song 'to go somewhere'.
'Shut up! Shut up!' Simon fired back before telling Nicole she was 'deaf' and diverted his attention back to Emily to tell her 'that was a moment'.
Louis' girl band Four Of Diamonds mixed things up with a mash-up of two songs - Lady Marmalade and Ariana Grade's Bang Bang.
While it was an entertaining delivery, they were given the critique of needing to be more sexy with Nicole stating she needed more 'spice' and 'sauce'.

Louis claimed it was the best moment of the show, while Nicole likened her performance to her love of bananas and maxi-pads.
