The X Factor's youngest girl Emily Middlemas, 15, stuns judges and sails through to next round in tutu and trainers
Cheryl Fernandez-Versini was forced to eat humble pie on Friday night's X Factor after she instantly put a 15-year-old contestant through to Judges' Houses, despite saying Under 16s shouldn't be in the competition.
Emily Middlemas - the youngest girl in the competition at 15 - gave an explosion rendition of Ellie Goulding’s Anything Could Happen, for which Cheryl gave up her sixth seat in the six-chair challenge.
The bubbly brunette oozed confidence on stage as she danced around in a white tutu and trainers and finish to the sound of a standing ovation.

Sweet Emily took the sixth chair in Cheryl's Girls category, despite each singer posing a particularly hard decision for Cheryl.
The Crazy In Love singer changed her line-up a further three times after Emily took her seat.
After delivering a sterling performance in front of the live audience, Cheryl said: ‘I absolutely loved that you enjoyed your moment, it’s so refreshing.
I’m going to have to eat humble pie. I thought it was going to be the younger ones that crumbled. You’re proving me wrong.’

Before giving Emily the chair, Cheryl was reminded that as an Under 16, she was forbidden from swapping her out again but luckily it was one decision that Cheryl was certain about.
Before announcing that she was sailing through to the Judges' Houses, the other girls in the line-up, which included Stephanie Nala, Lola Saunders and Lauren Platt, looked increasingly threatened.
Mel B told the singer: ‘You forget that you’re 15, you’re already a mature woman just doing it.'

Simon, who Cheryl found herself relying increasingly on throughout the auditions, said: ‘I don’t care whether she’s 14, 15, 16, you’ve got to give this girl a seat.’
The 15-year-old had stuck in the minds of the judges since her first audition in which she gave a sweet vocal with tons of character.
The multi-talented musician can also play guitar and expects to be a strong contender for a spot in the live shows next week.
