Michelle Keegan played a pretty funny prank on Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent yesterday!
Michelle starred in Corrie alongside Brooke for more than six years until making her exit from the popular ITV soap in April. Viewers saw Michelle's character, barmaid Tina McIntyre, get killed off in a chilling murder storyline in June.
On Wednesday (16 July), Michelle popped in to the BBC studios in London to join Nick Grimshaw for a game of 'Call or Delete' on Radio 1's Breakfast Show.
Michelle, who is engaged to former TOWIE star Mark Wright, called close friend Brooke, who plays lesbian Sophie Webster in the soap.
Michelle told Nick: "I've left Corrie. I haven't seen her [Brooke] in a while actually. We do text a lot."
Nick thought of a cunning plan, saying Michelle should call Brooke and tell her that producers have asked her to return to Corrie... as Sophie's lesbian ghost!
Michelle then began her call to Brooke and wasted no time in talking about her surprise 'return'!
"I just had a meeting with ITV and they called me in," Michelle told Brooke. "Do you know what they said? Because I left Corrie the ratings dipped, like a proper big dip, by nearly half. I was like 'Well, what do you want me to do about it?' and they said they've come up with a few ideas like bringing me back as Tina's twin sister!"
Brooke simply replied: "Oh my god."
Michelle continued: "You haven't heard the half of it Brooke! They want me to come back as her twin sister that Tina didn't know she had, but her mum knew. And guess what? They want you to fall in love with me! They want Sophie and Tina's twin sister to have a lesbian love thing!
"That's what they said to me, they're panicking. The other thing they threw in the bag was that they want to bring me back as a ghost. They need to bring something back whether it's six months or a year, they want me to come back to change the story up."
Brooke fell for it hook, line and sinker, and despite laughing in shock, she was quick to fill in her mum on the latest soap gossip!
"I don't think that's believable, do you?," Michelle asked Brooke. "I literally sat there and they said, 'We need you back on the soap."
Michelle quickly wrapped up her chat with Brooke, explaining she needed to head into another meeting but would catch-up with her later!
After the call, Nick was in hysterics, with Michelle admitting: "I love her! She was relaying everything back to her mum! I can't believe she fell for it! I loved it, it was so fun."
Before the hilarious prank, Michelle posed for pictures with Grimmy in the photo booth, showing off her golden tan from her recent holiday in Mallorca.

She might have a head for numbers, but that didn't help leggy Countdown presenter, Rachel Riley, when she played a game of Innuendo Bingo on Scott Mills' BBC Radio One show on Tuesday.
The object of the game is to be the first person to spit water at the person opposite when an innuendo is heard and judging by Rachel's soaking outfit, she didn't do very well.
Still, at least the 27-year-old successfully managed to find time in her hectic schedule to visit the studio as she is busy rehearsing for her role in BBC's Strictly Come Dancing.

She also has to find time in her week to present both Channel 4's Countdown and Channel 5's The Gadget Show.
Despite having water spat in her face during her interview, Rachel looked dry and delightful when she arrived earlier in the day.
She was wearing a fur-lined parka, black jumper, leggings and her hair was held in place with a pair of sunglasses. She was also carrying a can of Red Bull, perhaps to give her energy for the game.

Rachel had already tweeted her excitement at being invited to take part in the game for the second time.
She wrote: 'All ready for innuendo bingo on @BBCR1 with @scott_mills & @Chris_Stark ! Should have brought a change of clothes... #schoolboyerror'
Thankfully, DJ Scott gave her a 'Team Riley' T-shirt to wear which at least protected her clothes a little bit.

All was going well until the DJ played a clip of Rachel having a discussion on a recent episode of Countdown as part of the game.
In it she said: 'Oh we absolutely love our barbeque and we'll just cook anything on it. My father-in-law - his favourite thing to do is spit-roast anything.'
On hearing the innuendo, co-presenter Chris Stark spat his water all over Rachel, beating her to it. She shouted: 'I knew it was coming. I don't think I can get any more wet.'

Rachel also joked that being so wet might affect the Strictly rehearsal she was having later that day with her professional dance partner, Pasha Kovalev.
She said: 'I have training after this. Pasha is going to ask questions.'
She added that she was having the time of her life on the show.
'I love it. It's so much fun. It really is the best thing ever. I can't remember the last time I had a night off. I haven't had a day off since August but I love it.
'I am obsessed, It's amazing.'

Fans have already been treated to a sneak peek of her raunchy new image in upcoming movie Byzantium.
And it seems Gemma Arterton's sexier image is spilling into her every day life, too.
The former Bond girl, who plays a bloodsucking vampire prostitute in the thriller, stepped out on Tuesday night for the London screening of Byzantium.

Gemma opted for smokey eyes to co-ordinate with the look and even wore crucifix-esque earrings to the event.
The actress completed her look with her dark locks tied into a simple up 'do.
She seemed in a jovial mood as she grinned widely for the cameras and joined her co-star Tom Hollander at the bash.

The beautiful brunette led by example on Tuesday morning as she fully embraced her curvy body in a tight white dress.

Speaking on the breakfast TV show, Gemma said: 'I'm really passionate about it because women are wonderful and we come in all shapes and sizes and that's OK.

It's usually the norm for celebrities to try and make sure they look their best at all times, perfecting their smiles to be camera ready at any moment.
But it's refreshing to see at least some stars don't take themselves too seriously.
And that certainly goes for Selena Gomez, who happily pulled faces for photos as she arrived at the BBC Radio 1 studios on Wednesday morning.

Although her efforts to look zany and pull faces did little to detract from the fact she looked stunning for the outing.
Selena's style seems to have come completely into its own and Wednesday was no different as she revealed her dressed up look.

She completed her perfect look with a matching white leather handbag and some leopard print shoes with blue printed over the toes.

And despite only being interviewed for the radio airwaves, she ensured she looked her best with a slick of red lipstick rounding off her look.
She arrived ready to be grilled by Nick Grimshaw for the Radio 1 Breakfast Show.

Gomez had only jetted into London on Tuesday ahead of the interview and even at the tender age of 20, Selena could show a few senior celebrities a few things about dressing to travel.

The stunning brunette glided off a flight from America's West Coast into the sharp air of London looking even sharper herself, especially after nine hours on a plane.

However, backstage it was a completely different story as after bumping into one another, Selena put her arm around Justin to lean in and give him a tender kiss on the cheek.

Selena and Justin‘s casual meet up was captured on Billboard’s online backstage video feed after the show.
In the video, Justin is seen standing with one of his pals, as Selena and her best friend and fellow singer Taylor Swift walk past.
Selena stops to talk to Justin and puts her arm around him and pulls him in for a kiss on the side of his face.
In the video it also appears that Justin tries to pull her in for a kiss on the lips before Selena seemingly pinches him on the cheek.

Meanwhile, in a recent interview with Miami's radio station Y100, Selena said she was nowhere near ready to get married... to anyone.
'I’m sure I was that little girl that wanted to be married at 20, but no that’s definitely not anything I want on my radar,' she said.
She also discussed her mother Mandy's pregnancy, saying at the time of the interview that she would be spending time on Mother's Day with her expecting mother.
