Real curves on the catwalk at last! Size 16 Ashley Graham leads a cast of beautiful full-figured models showcasing her lingerie designs at New York Fashion Week

  • The 28-year-old designs a range of lingerie for Canadian brand Addition Elle, which is aimed at larger ladies
  • In addition to her own catwalk show, Ashley has been working on a body positivity campaign with Lane Bryant called #PlusisEqual
The size 16 model, 28, debuted her latest lingerie line for Canadian retailer Addition Elle on Tuesday afternoon, by both starring in and running the show alongside a cast of her fellow curvy models.
The holiday collection, entitled Black Orchid, includes black, blue and purple bras, corsets, underwear and more, all of which have been specifically designed to complement the curves of fuller-figured women.

While none of the ladies walking in the runway show, which was hosted at KIA STYLE360, conformed to the stereotypical stick-thin model form, there was plenty of diversity on the catwalk, whether that be in size, shape or color.
Every model walked down the catwalk with complete confidence while wearing a pieces from the new ready-to-wear collection, which features teddies with sheer paneling, lace-lined satin bras, high-waisted panties and sultry corset combinations.
Some of the looks were modeled with shawls or fur that were draped delicately from the models' shoulders.
The runway show also featured several day wear items including baby doll dresses, tops, skirts and suede jackets.

Made for all: The designs are made with curvier girls in mind, with larger bra sizes and flattering high-waisted panties

Add to the mood: Some of the models walked with furs draped about their shoulders for an extra touch

The line has already received rave reviews in Canada and is now available on the US market at Nordstroms. This was the first time the brand has showed at the exclusive Fashion Week.
Body-positive activist Ashley is no stranger to groundbreaking modelling, having previously been the first plus-size model to grace the pages of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue.
During the show, guests were encouraged to use the hashtag #IAmSizeSexy to promote body diversity at the event, which is usually dominated by slender models.
The idea seems to mirror another movement Ashley is involved in with plus-size retailer Lane Bryant's, the #PlusIsEqual campaign. Ashley and fellow models Candice Huffine, Precious Lee, Justine Legault, Sabina Karlsson and Georgia Pratt turned out to support the campaign at Times Square on Monday.
Across the board: While none of the models were the usual slim-figured types normally spied on the catwalk, they came in a large range of sizes

'[This is an] amazing, all-inclusive, high-end fashion campaign,' Ashley told the Huffington Post.
'Everyone deserves to see themselves being represented equally. #PlusIsEqual is showing that curvy women are accepted, they're represented and being made a priority in the fashion industry.'
While Addition Elle's show is by far the most body diverse show on the Fashion Week calendar, the seas of change are apparent elsewhere in the fashion world with plus-size models appearing on the walk for Zana Bayne and Chromat in recent years - Chromat included two at their show this year.
'We definitely still have more progress to make, but campaigns like this and #IAmSizeSexy are raising awareness for body diversity and continuing these great conversations,' said Ashley.
The campaigns are running in the midst of controversy incited by Victoria Beckham's latest runway show, which social media users dubbed the 'show of skeletons'.
