Katie Hopkins was once widely-regarded as 'the most hated woman in Britain'.

So it won't come as a huge surprise to many that she is proving unpopular with the celebrity crowd and finding it hard to tap guests for a new chat show, as The Daily Mirror reported on Thursday.

The 40-year-old, who is said to be in talks for the TLC prime-time programme, has been at the centre of multiple social media feuds with high profile individuals in the last year and is thought to be struggling to sign anyone up to appear on the show because 'no-one wants to speak to her.'

A source told the newspaper that not a single celebrity has signed up after agents were asked to put talent forward.

The source said: 'They can't find anyone who wants to go on it. She is too controversial, too nasty. 

'The bottom line is no-one wants to speak to her. Why would you want to go and speak to her?'

Though her chat show is yet to be confirmed, a representative for TLC and Katie Hopkins has been contacted by MailOnline for comment.

Former Apprentice contestant Katie previously worked with the television channel when she curated a documentary that saw her gain 3st to highlight the obesity epidemic in the UK.

Since coming second on one of Celebrity Big Brother's most fiery series to date, Katie has launched unprovoked attacks on stars including Kelly Clarkson, Chloe Madeley, Kelly Osbourne, Kym Marsh and Denise Welch.

The sharp-tongued reality star has targeted celebrities for issues such as cancer awareness, calling Angelina Jolie 'smug' when she discussed her extensive preventative surgery, and also new mothers, as she recently attacked Kelly Clarkson for gaining 'carrot cake weight'.

Kelly was one of the few celebrities to refuse to rise to it on social media and responded with a defiant 'I'm awesome' when Katie said of her: 'Look chubsters, Kelly Clarkson had a baby a year ago. That is no longer baby weight. That is carrot cake weight. Get over yourselves.'

Katie was even brazen enough to reference the late Peaches Geldof - the daughter of Bob Geldof who died of a heroin overdose last year aged 25 - in a recent vile social media slam.  

She said: 'Chloe Madeley, Peaches Geldoff and Jesus. One thing in common. Only famous 'cos of their dad.' 

Celebrities have also been quick to defend each other on social media, wading into others' feuds to encourage the television personality to keep her opinions to herself. 

This week, Katie started an argument when she tweeted TV star Richard Madeley about his gym-obsessed daughter Chloe with a comment on her recent fitness snaps.

Defense: Celebrities have also been quick to wade into others' debates and defend them, like when TOWIE star Maria Fowler recently stuck up for Chloe on social media

She said: 'Bloody hell @richardm56 - have a word with your daughter love. Tell her to put it away, or put some clothes on it.'

TOWIE star Maria Fowler was quick to reply, questioning Katie's authority to comment on such things when she was captured having intercourse in a field with another man's husband back in 2007.

Maria chimed in saying: 'Least she's not naked. In a field. Having sex. On camera.'

A proposed chat show is no doubt sure to draw in the viewers after the latest series of CBB, in which Katie caused race and sexism rows, had its highest ratings since moving over to Channel 5.

It was also the channel's most talked-about series, over on Katie's familiar social media stomping ground, Twitter. 

Her two-part TLC documentary, My Fat Story which aired in January, achieved record ratings for the channel too.

It scored scored 140k viewers for the first part and 210k in the second, while the show was up 0.9% on previous success Jodie Marsh On…Plastic Surgery that went out in October 2014.

Her fans from 24 or Happy Endings might have trouble recognizing Elisha Cuthbert with a new vamp style.

That's because the 32-year-old actress traded in her standard girl-next-door looks for a glamorous makeover in the April issue of FASHION Magazine.

In her interview, however, she stayed rather down-to-earth as she talked about the joys of working with Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi on the upcoming comedy One Big Happy.

Usually a wholesome blonde in her acting roles, Elisha had her hair styled dramatically back from her face and wore makeup that emphasized her eyes and cheekbones during the FASHION photo shoot.

The photos showed the actress in two racy black tops: an X-shaped one from Carven At The Room and a breast-revealing crop top by Alexander Wang.

That high-fashion look will likely disappear again for One Big Happy, in which Elisha plays Lizzy, a lesbian woman who becomes pregnant with her best friend's baby.

Unfortunately, the timing is such that that friend (played by Nick Zano) has simultaneously fallen for Prudence (Kelly Brook).

One Big Happy was created by lesbian comedy writer Liz Feldman before Ellen came on to produce.

That background meant a lot to Elisha: 'I felt I had to do this. Just look at what Ellen went through 18 years ago when she came out on her TV series.'

'Could you imagine how hard that was for her and how groundbreaking that was?'

New style: Seen as a wholesome blonde on shows like 24 and Happy Endings, Elisha sported a more fashionable style for the magazine

Elisha was happy to praise both Ellen and her wife, Portia de Rossi, after working with them on One Big Happy.

'They are a couple that all married people can look up to. They're very supportive of one another and they have each other's backs,' explained Elisha.

Portia even stepped in to produce when Ellen was too busy with The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

'De Rossi stepped in,' Elisha revealed. 'One could easily not care about the other's endeavours, but Portia really did. That was so sweet.'

Even after lauding Ellen and Portia, Elisha had plenty of love leftover for her native Canada.

'It's a no-brainer. If you want to keep warm and look good, just wear something made by a Canadian,' the actress, who was born in Calgary, said when asked about Canadian fashion.

She stuck to the Canada theme as well when gushing about meeting one of her idols, fellow countrywoman and singer Joni Mitchell.

'I was dumbfounded,' Elisha said. 'She has no filter, she's clever, and she's a genius. She has also reverted to not giving a d*** about stupid things.'

'I'm excited for that time,' the actress added.

Prior to One Big Happy, Elisha appeared on several seasons of 24 as Kim, Jack Bauer's daughter, and on Happy Endings as the ditzy Alex Kerkovich.

One Big Happy premieres Tuesday on NBC for a six-episode run.

Alessandra Ambrosio is ready to do some damage at Grammy's after-party… in a racy sheer dress and spiked clutch bag

At the Oscars last year Angelina Jolie caused quite a stir with her right leg as it took centre stage in her revealing gown. 

And now model Alessandra Ambrosio has had her turn at recreating the moment in a sheer dress with a thigh-high split as she attended the Warner Music Grammy Awards after-party held at Chateau Marmont on Sunday evening. 

Opting for a low-cut version of the dress the model was cheekily pictured with her leg in the copycat pose made famous by the American star.

Beneath the navy blue dress by Alexandre Vauthier the Victoria’s Secret star’s underwear was visible, and it didn't quite cover her bottom.

The dress wasn't just sheer on the bottom half, the model's toned stomach was also visible but fortunately she opted for a little more fabric in the chest area.

The 31-year-old completed her look with a navy leather jacket, a Louboutin gold clutch bag with spiked detail and a pair of open-toe Giuseppe Zanotti strappy heels. 

In keeping with her dramatic look, Alessandra wore plenty of smokey eye make-up and she sported a deep tan. 

She was joined by her fiancé Jamie Mazur, who looked far more casual in a pair of jeans, leather jacket and scruffy looking facial hair.

Other guests who attended the Warner Music Group's party included British star James Blunt who clearly wasn’t in for the long haul as he arrived driving himself. 

Flo Rida, who looked dapper in his blue tuxedo and Ashley Benson who was particularly casual in a red blazer also made an appearance.

TOWIE star Lauren Pope was perhaps one of the surprise guests of the evening, who was spotted at the Chateau Marmont before heading to Rihanna’s Grammy Party. 

Dita Von Teese looked her usual glamorous self as she gracefully got out of her red car which matched the red accessories of her outfit. 

Rihanna was spotted at another party- the Island Def Jam Grammy party, where she posed for a picture with Pete Wentz.

Katy Perry changed out of her revealing green dress and put on a green shift as attended the Sony Music Grammy Reception at Bar Nineteen, accompanied by her boyfriend John Mayer. 

Adele also changed out of her dress, opting for what looked like a large black cardigan, as she attended the Sony party were she was seen chatting to Kelly Clarkson. 

Earlier in the evening the 21 singer decided to ditch her usual LBD opting for vintage red floral dress.

It's not exactly the Red Carpet ceremony, but the President's second-term inauguration had an unmistakable Hollywood feel.

Beyonce and Jay-Z led the way as the stars turned out in force to support President Barack Obama at his inauguration on Monday. 

A loud cheer welcomed the 31-year-old singer and her rapper husband as they made a grand entrance at the ceremonial swearing-in at the U.S. Capitol in Washington, DC.

The pair both wore grey and had matching fur coats for the occasion and stopped to chat with Rev. Al Sharpton.

After watching Obama's second inauguration, Beyonce stepped onto the podium herself to belt out The Star Spangled Banner.

With huge emeralds glinting on her ears, and her finger, the beauty looked moved as she gave a passionate performance.

She had earlier shared snaps of her rehearsals on Instagram.

Musicians Kelly Clarkson and James Taylor were present, both preparing to perform at the inaugural ceremony.

'I think it's going to be the coolest thing ever to look back with my grandkids and go: "I was a part of that and I'm proud of that. I'm not ashamed of that,"' Clarkson said in a recent interview.

Kelly once said she was a fan of Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul, but she says she voted for Obama twice.

Kelly performed My Country 'Tis Of Thee at Obama and Vice President Joe Biden's swearing in ceremony after Obama took the oath of office. 

UK viewers may have found the song familiar - it is set to the British national anthem God Save The Queen.

'We came up with a really cool arrangement for it and I really love the lyrics,' Kelly said.

Stevie Wonder, Alicia Keys, Mana, Usher and Brad Paisley will later take to the stage at the Commander-in-Chief's Ball.

Actress Eva Longoria was seated on the platform outside the Capitol, sharing a picture of her insiders view on Twitter.

Also seated in the crowd were long-term Obama supporter, the singer Katy Perry, wearing an orange coat, and her boyfriend John Mayer.

And former Boston Celtics great Bill Russell was in the crowd, too.

Celebrities have been a big part of Obama's strategy to attract voters. Bruce Springsteen is a regular supporter, as is Perry, Lena Dunham, Scarlett Johansson, Jay-Z and dozens of others.

While not all of Obama's star supporters could be present at the inauguratiuon, there were plenty of stirring tributes posted on Twitter.

Alicia Keys wrote: 'What a powerful day!! May we all take these powerful strides and continue moving forward!! Blessings!! '

Beyonce's singer sister Solange showed her support, writing: 'I couldn't be more proud on this day.'

Maria Shriver, estranged wife of Arnold Schwarzenegger and a Kennedy by birth, tweeted: 'Wow, Beyonce! 

'Her work brought her here, as did Kelly Clarkson's. Hard work pays off. Greatest country on earth.'

But while tickets for the inaguartion were much sought after, there was one person who wasn't that impressed.

Miss America Mallory Hagan said in an interview on Saturday that she wasn't sure if she would attend the public swearing-in ceremony even though she had a ticket because 'it's going to be freezing.'

But on Monday she tweeted a photo of herself from the inauguration wrapped in a blue scarf with the words 'bundled up!'

She later tweeted that she was 'proud to be an American.'  Hagan, a 23-year-old Alabama native who lives in New York, won the Miss America title earlier this month.
