First photo: Jumanji cast is seen in character as Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black and Karen Gillan shoot remake in Hawaii

Filming for the new Jumanji movie kicked off in Hawaii on Monday.

And the next day a photo of the cast in character was shared by actor Kevin Hart.

Also in the snap is Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Jack Black and Karen Gillan. The original came out in 1995 and starred the late Robin Williams as well as Kirsten Dunst, Bonnie Hunt and Bradley Pierce.

'Day 1 of shooting Jumanji is officially in the can. We had a amazing first day,' wrote the comedian.

'The chemistry & energy of our cast & crew was beyond amazing!!!!

'This movie is going to be dope as hell....Can't wait to get back to work tomorrow.' His hashtags included the names of his co-stars.

Also joining the cast is singer Nick Jonas though he was not pictured.

Pointing out how well the cast is getting along seems deliberate as The Rock had a hard time with some of his cast mates on his late film, Fast 8.

It's clear Hart does not want people thinking that bad energy followed the 44-year-old superstar.

This movie is not being billed as a remake of the Williams classic, but rather a 'continuation.'

The Rock said: 'As a producer on this movie and someone who loves the original, you have my word we'll honor the legend of 'Alan Parrish' and properly introduce a whole new generation to the fun and crazy Jumanji universe that so many of us loved and grew up on.'

'This is gonna be fun...,' the actor promised.

The first Jumanji was about a magical board game that unleashes a world of adventure on siblings Peter (Pierce) and Judy Shepherd (Dunst). While exploring an old mansion, the youngsters find a curious, jungle-themed game called Jumanji in the attic. When they start playing, they free Alan Parrish (Williams), who's been stuck in the game's inner world for decades.

If they win Jumanji, the kids can free Alan for good, but that means braving giant bugs, ill-mannered monkeys and even stampeding rhinos.

Kevin Hart and his new bride Eniko Parrish are living it up as honeymooners in paradise.

The actor, 37, puffed on a cigar during a romantic walk with Eniko on a beach in St. Bart's on Monday.

All eyes were on Eniko as she showed off her extraordinary figure in a skimpy black bathing suit with an exposed back as she enjoyed a cool drink.

Clinging to her hourglass figure, Eniko looked absolutely breathtaking as she strolled barefoot beside her love.

The model had her tresses slicked up into a high bun and accessorized her look with a pair of aviator sunglasses.

Kevin hardly looked back either - the actor, who works hard at his figure, showed off his sculpted physique in bright blue trunks.

The couple are vacationing at an ultra luxurious villa in St. Barts, and have been busy updating fans with all that their digs have to offer ever since arriving to their destination.

Kevin and Eniko married in the upscale community of Montecito, California on Sunday.

The comedian popped the question to Eniko two years earlier in August 2014.

The marriage means Eniko will officially be a stepmother to the comic's two children, Heaven, 11, and Hendrix, eight.

During an interview on the Howard Stern Show in January, Kevin revealed his son Hendrix would be his best man.

'My son is my best friend, aged 8. My son will definitely be my best man,' he said.

The star said of nuptials: 'I cant disclose all that information [referring to the guest list]. I got a lot nice friends, [so it is] very top secret, very private. It's going to be a good time.'
