He may not have the X Factor, but Rylan Clark has won the 11th series of Celebrity Big Brother.

The flamboyant Essex boy, 24, broke down in tears after beating Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, aka Speidi, on the reality show on Friday night.

Although he's been the bookies' favourite for weeks, Rylan was stunned to win and broke down in tears after learning he had beaten his arch-rivals.

Speaking to host Brian Dowling, he said: 'Honestly, through the past year, people have been picking up the phone for me and I really appreciate it.

'They (the public) hated me three months ago. I've been the biggest fan of Big Brother.'

Speaking about his nemesis Speidi, he said: 'I don't have any ties to Heidi and Spencer, but they're a genuine couple. I wish them the best of luck in life. They are absolutely made for each other.

'The reason I came on this show is to show people who got me wrong. You can call me whatever you want, but don't ever call me fake.

'One thing they (Speidi) gave me in the house was a headache.

'I'm glad for my mother's sake because when I was on X Factor, she went through hell.'

Rylan was brought to tears again when he received a phonecall from his mother Linda, who told her son how 'proud' the family were of him.

Earlier during the live show following his eviction, former The Hills reality star Spencer admitted he and his wife didn't appear on the show to win any friends.

Heidi maintained all the contestants were on the series to win: 'It's just a game. I didn't think people took it seriously. You're supposed to be trying to win.'

Earlier in the show, Australian actor Ryan Moloney ended up in third place, Claire Richards in fourth place and Neil 'Razor' Ruddock in fifth.

The Aussie star said: 'I thought I would be the first out. I didn't think I was as interesting as everyone else.'

He mocked Heidi and Spencer, saying: 'According to Speidi, they had it the most difficult. They had each other. I had nobody. I think they're a pack of whingers actually.

'If they're here to be baddies, they're doing a good job.'

Meanwhile, former Steps singer Claire, 35, said she was 'overwhelmed' by the crowd response to her exit.

She admitted she was amazed to be in the final: 'I thought I would have quit by now or would have been evicted.

She conceded: 'I think I found out I'm a lot tougher than I think I was.'

Reflecting on Speidi's delight in not letting her read her letter from home, she said: 'When Heidi clapped, I could have gone like that (punched her). That's heartless and spiteful.'

During Razor's interview, the 44-year-old insisted he didn't mind not winning: 'My agent told me not to get kicked out - which I nearly did and don't go first, so I'm alright.

'It's like rehab with beer. A lot of boredom. I missed my missus and kids.'

Razor admitted women's underwear were more comfortable than boxers when he spoke about embracing his 'feminine side' in the house.

Asked about his foul-mouthed argument with Speidi, which resulted in him getting a formal warning from Big Brother.

Reflecting on the clash, he conceded: 'They're a bunch of f**king idiots. I'm a team player. It got too much. When someone bullies someone else, I stepped in and flipped out.'

He admitted he couldn't stand Rylan when he was a contestant on X Factor, but now describes him as a 'special boy' and urged viewers to vote for the Essex boy to win.

Friday's final came after the contestants spent 23 days in Big Brother House - the 11th series of the reality TV show.

Earlier in the episode, the contestants were seen stating their cases for winning the show.

Rylan ended up getting emotional after Ryan suggested the X Factor contestant should win instead of him.

The former Neighbours star said: 'I've had an absolute ball. But there's someone here I would really like everyone to vote for because because it would mean the most too. Please vote for Rylan.'

In recent days, former X Factor star Rylan has been the bookies' favourites, followed by Speidi.

Other contestants to have exited the show over the past two weeks include Paula Hamilton, Frankie Dettori, Gillian Taylforth, Lacey Banghard, Sam Robertson and Tricia Penrose, who all returned for the grand final.

Before she became a household name in Celebrity Big Brother Lacey Banghard told a lads’ mag about her dream of having her own brand of condoms.

And on Tuesday the glamour model came that little bit closer as she posed alongside activists dressed as condoms for PETA in Piccadilly Circus.

The 22-year-old did her bit to help promote the sterilisation of cats and dogs to prevent animal homelessness by doing what she does best – wearing very little.

Bedford born Lacey slipped into a low cut white frilly dress, which showed off her famous cleavage.

Going bare-legged she showed of her slim pins which were further accentuated by a pair of nude coloured platform heels. 

The model, who was evicted from the Big Brother house on Wednesday, pulled a variety of ‘classic’ poses, including pretending to laugh hysterically at something one of the condoms said.

Standing beside the blue and pink condoms which held signs saying ‘Dogs and Cats Can't Wear Condoms: Spay and Neuter’, the reality star looked delighted to be doing her bit to help animals.

Speaking about the cause the conscientious star said: ‘If cats and dogs could rubber-up, tens of thousands of animals would be spared suffering and death every year, 

‘But they can't, so it's up to us to fix the problem by fixing our animals.’

Before her stint on Big Brother she told Nuts : 'I want to capitalise on my name a bit more. Banghard would be a great name for my own brand of condoms: "Banghard, bang safe".

Lacey was the third person to be evicted from the Big Brother house after losing out in the public vote against Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt, Rylan Clark and Claire Richards.

The model couldn't seem to believe her eyes as she looked at the crowd below cheering her on as she left.

Speaking to Brian in her post-exit interview, she said: 'Everyone booed me on the way in. I just wanted to change people's perception of me.'

Lacey made the most of her womanly charms during  her time in the house by stripping off in front of everyone and conveniently ‘forgetting’ her towel when she emerged from the shower, meaning she had to use just her hands to protect her modesty.

It seems that she’s putting her looks to good use now though as she joined PETA’s campaign.

CELEBRITY Big Brother star Lacey says she wants to bring out her own range of Banghard condoms when she leaves the house.

The Page 3 beauty, 21, was asked what she had got planned after her stint on the Channel 5 show.
And the brunette joked to Nuts magazine: “I want to capitalise on my name a bit more.
"Banghard would be a great name for my own brand of condoms ‘Banghard, bang safe’ ha-ha.”

Lacey, who says she has 28G breasts, was speaking before she entered the house last Thursday.
And she said when she was first offered the opportunity to join the show she wasn't sure.
The single star, whose nickname is Bangers, revealed: “At first I was terrified about it but then I started to think, ‘Why not?’ You only live once, right?
"I loved the series with Sylvester Stallone’s mum, Jackie. She was hilarious.

When asked what we will discover about her in the Big Brother house, Lacey revealed: “That I have a massive big toe."

Lacey Banghard may have thought she had it covered for the glamour stakes in this year's Celebrity Big Brother house, but along came Heidi Montag.

Brunette Lacey may have waited a mere three hours before taking her kit off, but half of Speidi wasted only minutes before stripping off and climbing first into the jacuzzi and then, on husband Spencer Pratt's invitation, into the CBB pool.

And blonde Heidi, 26, who has been married to the same man three times, showed off her incredible body in the cut-away swimsuit.

The US couple were allowed access to the house after jockey champ Frankie Dettori nominated the venomous couple to head into luxury to mix up the reality show.

And, presumably because The Hills star Heidi hadn't showered in the basement (and nothing to do with airtime) she quickly stripped down to an olive green bikini.

The married woman's bang on-trend swim suit was nothing like 20-year-old Lacey's first night strip - the former Page 3 idol simply took off her skirt and then swam in her underwear.

But the arrival of Speidi upstairs certainly caused some controversy.

Steps pop queen Claire Richards says to Rylan, 'This is just so weird; I’m still not sure what is going on.' 

While in the diary room, Rylan told Big Brother that something feels wrong and he doesn’t know what is going on. 'It doesn’t feel like our house anymore.'

He adds that he doesn't think he can trust Spencer and Heidi, and misses Frankie.

Heidi is next in the diary room and thanks Big Brother, declaring what a great show this is, 'Oh my gosh, miracles happen!' She explains that Spencer doesn’t have too many positive thoughts for Rylan and that he’s 'a more selfish than a selfless person'.

Ironically in footage shown on Saturday evening Lacey comments that this is the happiest she’s ever woken up.

But in footage leaked on the CBB official website, all of the housemates are now living upstairs after a devious twist by Big Brother.

It means that all of those in the basement had to nominate one person to be up for the public vote, but this gem has not been released by CBB bosses.

Although they did, and this is not for the fainthearted, release a video of Razor bathing.
