Pregnant Lucy-Jo Hudson stuns in Grecian style dress as she attends British Soap Awards + Winners List

She's a Corrie goddess! Pregnant Lucy-Jo Hudson stuns in Grecian style dress as she attends British Soap Awards with husband Alan Halsall

It can be tricky trying to find the perfect red carpet dress at the best of times, let alone if you are pregnant.
But that clearly wasn’t a problem for Lucy-Jo Hudson who looked the picture of elegance as she attended The British Soap Awards on Saturday evening alongside her husband and co-star Alan Halsall.
Looking less of a soap star and more of a Greek goddess, the Coronation Street actress showed off her growing baby bump in her glamorous white gown from Tiffany Rose.

The floor-length dress was perfect for her as it skimmed over her baby bump elegantly.
While it may have been low-cut the 30-year-old avoided showing off too much cleavage which can be a problem for soap stars when they attend events.
The dress featured intricate beading detail around the waist which added a touch of sparkle, as did her clutch bag.

Her hair had been styled off her face in a curled up-do, which meant her long earrings could take centre stage.
She completed her look with a dash of red lipstick and a very big smile.
Lucy-Jo was not only there as guest but to support her husband Alan, who is up for a whopping four awards at the ceremony.

The actor, who plays Tyrone Dobbs on the show, ended up winning Best Actor and Best Storyline for his character's abuse by wife Kirsty Soames (Natalie Gumede)
He was also nominated for Best Episode and Best On-screen Partnership.
Dressed in dark blue suit, with a blue tie and a pair of brown shoes he looked particularly dapper.
Earlier in the week he admitted that he was not feeling too comfortable about attending.

He told The Mirror: ‘I'm not too comfortable with all that really. I have one standard smile which is like a big grin.
‘To be honest, when I get there I just want to get in, get to the bar and have a pint.’
But his wife was much excited and tweeted: ‘All suited and booted and heading to the @SoapAwards with @alanhalsall xxx #excited xxx’
The couple are expecting their first child together, which is due in just over four months.

Jennifer Metcalfe goes braless at British Soap Awards in gaping white blazer

She's got some front! Jennifer Metcalfe goes braless at British Soap Awards in gaping white blazer

She missed out on a nomination for Sexiest Female at this year's British Soap Awards.
However, it looks like Jennifer Metcalfe was certainly showing awards bosses and the public they may have missed a trick by leaving her off the shortlist.
The Hollyoaks star, 29, certainly garnered plenty of attention as she arrived at the Manchester ceremony in a white blazer and nothing underneath.

As she bent over, the gaping blazer nearly exposed Jennifer's breasts to the waiting paparazzi.
Joining Jennifer on the red carpet was her co-star Gemma Merna, who plays her on-screen sister Carmel in the Channel 4 soap.
Ahead of her red carpet arrival, Jennifer had been tweeting about her pampering and cocktail sessions.
She's got some front! After three cocktails, no wonder Jennifer was relaxed in her risque ensemble

Just before she turned up at Media City in Salford, she admitted she was on her third cocktail.
She tweeted: 'Cocktail no 3 now 'av t get ready (sic).'
Blonde Gemma also went for a more daring look, in a floor-length lace gown with a sheer panel all down the side.
Grecian goddess: Jorgie Porter, who is up for Sexiest Female, showed some flesh in white Grecian gown and gold belt

No doubt the actress would have done some serious waxing before opting for such a revealing ensemble.
Also going for a similar style to Jennifer was Coronation Street star Brooke Vincent, who wore a white trouser suit.

Corrie star Kym Lomas proudly shows off daughter Emily, 15, on red carpet

'Me and my gorgeous girl': Corrie star Kym Lomas proudly shows off daughter Emily, 15, on red carpet

Before being cast as feisty Michelle Connor in Coronation Street, Kym Lomas was better known for her singing as part of Hear'Say.
And it appears vocal talent runs in the family as her eldest daughter Emily sang at a charity ball on Friday night.
The mother-of-three, 36, proudly showed off her 15-year-old daughter on the red carpet as they arrived at the JD Sports Charity Ball in Manchester.

The soap star showed off her figure in a black velvet dress as she arrived at the bash, which she teamed with a pair of peep-toe Christian Louboutins.
Her teenage daughter looked ready for her moment in the spotlight in a black dress, red heels, with her long hair backcombed.
Her famous mother tweeted: 'Me and my gorgeous girl! So proud of her singing tonight!! Go Em!! Xxx.'

Also in attendance was Kym's Corrie co-star Alan Halsall and his wife Lucy-Jo Hudson, singer Sharleen Spiteri and ex-Emmerdale actor Danny Miller.
Emily is Kym's daughter from a previous romance with Dave Cunliffe - who is also father to her 17-year-old son David.
Meanwhile, Kym's actor husband Jamie is back in the United States looking for acting work.
He previously spent time in LA last Spring after leaving Hollyoaks for the second time in 2011.

At the time, Kym admitted it had been 'difficult' for them being so far apart.
However, he was soon back by Kym's side with the pair marrying in Cheshire last September.
The couple started dating in summer 2008, five months after Kym left her first husband, ex-EastEnder Jack Ryder.
They sadly lost their son Archie moments after birth in February 2009, but welcomed a healthy baby girl Polly together in March 2011.
