The event may well have been dominated by sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid, but the runway was owned by the equally alluring Sara Sampaio on Wednesday afternoon.

The sultry Portuguese model went braless as she strode the catwalk for Italian designer Alberta Ferretti’s autumn-winter show as Milan Fashion Week got into full swing.

Opting for a plunging sheer lilac dress from Ferretti’s forthcoming collection, Sara - best known for her role as a Victoria's Secret Angel - commanded maximum attention by exposing her breasts during another memorable runway appearance.

Smoky eye-shadow and contoured foundation served to accentuate her already striking features, while her brunette locks were centre parted and effortlessly pushed away from her face.

The model later protected her modesty by sporting a snug black sweater beating the single word Tuesday over her revealing, floor-length outfit to display both sides of the modern-meets-classic collection. 

Meanwhile supermodel sisters Bella and Gigi showed no signs of slowing down on Wednesday after into Milan for the Ferretti's runway show.

Bella, 20, flashed a saucy hint of her bust in a chiffon striped gown before dazzling in a romantic velvet cape and mask - while her 21-year-old sister followed suit in a hooded robe, which billowed effortlessly behind her as she took to the catwalk.

The old-meets-new theme of the collection was mirrored on the other models - who sported co-ordinating jumpers featuring different days of the week, and equally striking skirts, including a traditional Spanish red number for a touch of vibrancy. 

Feretti's ollection kept in theme with a selection of old-fashioned frilled dresses, featuring soft chiffon, delicate prints and 3D flower statements - before trendier accessories and chunky heeled shoes were added for a modern touch. 

The models later on took to the runway side by side for the finale as they lapped up the rapturous applause after the show - with the designer herself taking to the stage to thank the audience for their support and praise.

Sara is known for her luxurious locks which is how the brunette beauty landed a Moroccanoil beauty deal. 

She uses a few products from the famline to promote bouncy curls and endless shine.

Her new appointment as the brand's beauty ambassador is an organic partnership.

But with her career taking off - she opened the Fendi show during Milan Fashion Week - it seems Bella Hadid is no longer content with life in her sibling's shadow.

And the brunette showed she can more than hold her own as she shared pictures from an upcoming issue of W magazine on Monday morning.

The braless beauty showed off her perfect figure beneath a crocheted white top, as she reclined on a chaise longe, staring directly into the camera.

She wrote: 'W magazine shot by the amazing @venetialscott and styled by my incredible @edward_enninful I love you ❤️#love @wmag'.

This week busy Bella also shared pictures of her new Calvin Klein billboard, and a shoot for Japan Vogue.

Having long been outshone by her 21-year-old big sister, it's clear the teen is relishing her chance at life in the spotlight.

The young model has also admitted she couldn't believe she was chosen to be the first star to grace the runway at the Fendi catwalk spring/Summer 2017 show.

Bella – who was named Model of the Year at the GQ Awards this year – shared her gratitude on social media, which saw her post a picture of her sporting a striped ensemble with her dark tresses slicked back in a ponytail on her Instagram account.

She captioned the upload: 'OPENING FENDI TODAY!!!!! I can't believe it!!!! 

'I feel so grateful to be a part of such an incredible and beautiful show let alone open it!!!! Thank you for your support and believing in me. Am forever grateful. I love you all!!!!!'

Alongside a picture of the blonde beauty – who is currently dating Zayn Malik – with Bella, she wrote: 'Had to hold back tears of pride & joy watching my beautiful lil sis open the @fendi show today!!!!!!!! Thank you so much for having me.'

Having walked runways around the world for many of the world's most prominent fashion designer, Gigi Hadid has become well accustomed to draping her slender frame in many an edgy ensemble.

And things were no different for the supermodel on Wednesday, as she took to the catwalk for Fendi's Spring-Summer '17 fashion show alongside her sister Bella in a decidedly eye-catching outfit.

The 21-year-old girlfriend of Zayn Malik turned heads as she stepped out in a grey sheer floral dress, which displayed her pert, bare breasts in all their glory as she took part in showcasing upcoming trends.

The short dress shimmered under the runway lights as Gigi strutted her stuff in a pair of unusual open-toe turquoise heels, which allowed her to show off her perfect pedicure, complete with black nail polish.

Carrying a shimmering pink purse, she wore her wore her hair in two pigtails, from which her chestnut brown hair fell in soft waves about her shoulders. 

And, in showing just why she's one of the fashion world's hottest new sensations, she effortlessly served face during her walk down the runway, showing off a metallic-painted pout in the process.

It's a cover-up: Bella took to the runway in a notably more conservative number, which completely covered her svelte frame

Let's face it: She effortlessly served face during her walk down the runway, showing off a metallic-painted pout in the process

Bella looked decidedly more conservative in the gowns selected for her to walk in, initially stepping out wearing a bra under a semi-sheer top, which was teamed with a high-waisted floral skirt.

Her top, which was decorated with metallic patterning, drew attention for its raised, embellished seams, while a pair of hot pink heels vied for the attention of the invited VIPs.

The event was attended by a number of celebrities, including singer Ellie Goulding and tennis ace Serena Williams, who arrived and sat in the front row with Vogue editor Anna Wintour.

Earlier in the day, Gigi was seen furiously lashing out at a man as she left another fashion show in Milan after he grabbed her from behind and tried to pick her up.

The beauty is in the Italian city for Milan Fashion Week and was leaving the Max Mara show, which she took part in.

However, as the model made her way to a waiting car with her sister Bella, the man appeared to linger around as she posed for selfies with other fans.

Ready to mingle: The chart-topping star mingled with a host of well-heeled guests as she waited for the show to kick off

Glory: Ellie shed her jacket after the show, showing her dress in all its glory. She also wore striped shoes and mirrored shades

And as she walked towards her car, the man then grabbed the American from behind, picking her up off the ground. 

A furious Gigi then lashed out using her fists and elbows to fight the man off as Bella, 19, shouted: 'Let go of her!' 

He eventually put her back down on her feet, but she then tried to storm after him yelling: 'Who the f*** are you, you piece of s***.' 

Eventually security intervened and she was whisked away, looking shaken and carrying her sunglasses, which nearly fell off her head. 

She got a golden ticket: Stella Maxwell was also among those who landed a coveted ticket to attend the exclusive showcase

Strike a pose: The 25-year-old model couldn't help but strike a series of poses for gathered photographers outside the show

Change clothes: With her hair and makeup intact from the show, she threw on a semi-sheer top and leather trousers

Arrivederci! The svelte beauty bid photographers and onlookers a friendly farewell, before heading off after the show

The sisters then got into a waiting car but not before Gigi tapped a security man on the shoulder and pointed at the man, saying 'can you go find that man.'

Gigi and sister Bella have had a whirlwind few weeks after taking part in New York, London and Milan fashion weeks back to back. 

She had only arrived in Italy on Tuesday and has been treating the sidewalk as her very own catwalk with numerous outfit changes.

Earlier in the week, Gigi was in the English capital with sister Bella, 19, and close pals Hailey Baldwin, 19, and Stella Maxwell, 25.

She was also spotted with boyfriend, ex-One Direction star Zayn Malik, putting on an extremely affectionate display as they headed to watch Bella walk the runway in the LFW Versus show.

The singer and his model girlfriend only had eyes for each other as they arrived hand-in-hand at the catwalk event in an impeccably stylish fashion.

Intervention: Eventually, security intervened and her sister could also be seen trying pulling the model away towards their car

Furious: A furious and shaken Gigi was then whisked to a waiting car after the altercation at Milan Fashion Week and asked her security to find the man
