Her love life was a roller coaster of ups and downs in 2013, and was well documented on a hit reality show.

Lucy Mecklenburgh from The Only Way Is Essex has made it her new year's resolution to quit the show, and to find love in 2014.

Speaking in the December issue of New! magazine, 22-year-old brunette Lucy revealed she would ideally like to stay single, but is too 'needy' not to have a boyfriend.

The fitness mad brunette admitted in the interview the only way to get over ex-fiance Mario Falcone would be to leave the show: 'The only way I can properly get over Mario is to get away from him.'

Lucy said spending her first Christmas being single was going to be an odd one, but ultimatley it meant she could spend money on a bigger present for herself.

She explained: 'I think the only thing I am going to miss is the present. But I've said whatever I would have spent on a guy, I'm going to spend on myself.

'I've got a grand budget. I either want a diamond band with little diamonds or a holiday in January.'

Lucy opened up about her romantic hopes for next year: 'I'd like a boyfriend and to fall in love next year. I'm just a needy person. I like a cuddle and attention, so it's hard.

'It doesn't help living on your own. I want to focus on me but I would also like some company'

Lucy, who has her own fitness website resultswithlucy.com, also divulged the secret to her super slim figure, that she is on a six-week pre Christmas detox plan.

She said: 'I was training for an hour a day and lost about 6lbs. I stop on December 18 and will get straight back on it two weeks later.'

She was recently linked to Doug Reinhardt, former star of The Hills.

And now Lucy Mecklenburgh has showed exactly what the US reality star sees in her by stripping to her underwear for a photoshoot in new! magazine.

The fitness-mad star looked stunning as she posed in her underwear and a series of brightly coloured knitwear.

Lucy was seen at a recent Hollywood party hosted by Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Brody Jenner having a kiss with US sports agent Doug.

And speaking about the budding romance, Lucy said that she and Doug, who has previously dated Paris Hilton and Amanda Bynes, ‘got on really well’ and have been texting each other.

Lucy, who will be heading to Las Vegas for the new season of TOWIE later this week, also revealed that she is hoping for Stateside success as she has been cast in a horror movie.

The ten-day Vegas trip will see Lucy and the rest of the TOWIE cast shoot an autumn special of the ITV2 series, following the success of The Only Way is Marbs, filmed in Marbella.

With some cast members worried that the new series could revolve around Lucy, the star denied she will get more airtime, but joked that she could come back from Vegas married.

She said; ‘As long as I don’t get married to Arg, I’m fine! I’ve heard they do drive-through weddings. Can you imagine? I’ll wake up with a Haribo ring on!’

Asked if she would like to find someone special, Lucy said: ‘I like my own space and I love my own place, but some nights I’m like, “Hmm, I’d quite like a guy here now to cuddle and kiss.”’

The fitness company owner will have been enjoying the chance to get away after an eventful few months in her love life.

After splitting from former fiancé Mario Falcone, 25, she enjoyed a few dates with fellow TOWIE star Dan Osborne, 22, before she was briefly linked to The Wanted singer Max George.

The star has been enjoying the results of intense fitness regime upon splitting from Mario in April, taking herself from a size 8-10 to a 6-8.

She only gave birth two weeks ago, but Imogen Thomas is already getting to grips with motherhood.

The former glamour girl posed with newborn daughter Ariana for the baby's first shoot this week, revealing that her other half Adam Horsley has yet to change a nappy.

Speaking to New! Magazine, the 30-year-old admitted that she was still recovering from her Caesarean section and was struggling with her 'tender and sore' boobs.

Posing at her London home with her newborn, Imogen took the opportunity to get dressed up for the shoot, looking more maternal than usual in feminine, floaty outfits.

In one shot, the new mum wore a strapless floral jumpsuit and a floral necklace, bending down to kiss tiny Ariana on the cheek.

Another picture shows the model in a ruffled peach dress, cradling her daughter who was dressed head-to-toe in white broderie anglaise.

Talking about boyfriend Adam, she said: 'He hasn't changed a nappy yet. He said 'it's a girl thing and she's a girl. You girls stick together.''

'I think it's cute. He'll be okay in a couple of weeks. He comes in with me and I show him how to do it,' she added.

Imogen was forced to have a c-section as her baby was breech, but has said: 'It's healing well, but it's still a a bit uncomfortable. I had the stitches taken out six days after the birth.'

The star also complained about the toll breastfeeding has taken on her cleavage, saying her boobs are still, 'very tender and sore'.

Getting on to the subject of marriage, the former Big Brother star seemed uncertain, although she now lives with Adam.

'I can't explain this thing about marriage. I don't know what it is. I think I'm just scared,' she admitted.

'But we've just had a baby and still want to go on dates together - that's why my mum's coming up once a month. I think we just need to keep our relationship fresh,' she added.

The usually trim star told the magazine that she was planning to get back into shape after she has healed properly.

'I have to wait until about six weeks after my c-section. Once I'm ready I'm going to do Bikram yoga and I'll start taking Slimsticks again too, so I'll lose weight through that,' she said.

She's no stranger to posing in her underwear for sexy magazine shoots, so it can be difficult to differentiate one from the next.

So when it came to stripping off for a New! magazine shoot, Helen Flanagan decided to liven things up with a pair of black beaded cat ears.

The 22-year-old actress showed off her slim figure in a black bra, knickers and denim shirt as she posed for the publication, and opened up about her relationship with Scott Sinclair.

In the photos accompanying the interview, Helen can be seen posing in different underwear sets.

In a red and white polka dot number, she also holds a Lomography camera, which is a homage to her love of self portraits, or 'selfies', which she frequently posts to the internet.

Another shot sees her wearing black lace lingerie with a denim shirt pulled in at the waist.

And in the accompanying interview, the pretty blonde star admits she is keen to start a family with her footballer beau, adding: 'Me and Scott both really want a baby.'

Helen also spoke about her love for her 23-year-old boyfriend, who she has been dating for the past three years, adding: 'I'm obsessed with him. I'm like his stalker! You have to have that kind of love where you'd die for that person.

'It has to be really intense and passionate and true, crazy love.'

But while Helen and Scott live together in Manchester, there is one thing the former Coronation Street won't do when it comes to looking after her house - any cleaning.

Admitting she struggles with housework, Helen blames her 'creativity' for stopping her from running a hoover around her vast abode.

When asked if Scott is tidy, she replies: 'Oh yeah, completely. I think because I'm creative I get very, very bored with simple things.'

Helen then added that her boyfriend doesn't clean up after her as she does it 'in my own way.'

The former Coronation Street actress also spoke about her recent revelation that she wanted to get a university degree, admitting that her education plan is slightly on the backburner at the moment.

She said: 'I might still do it, but nothing's set in stone.'

This may not come as a surprise to her critics who regard her as an airhead, but Helen won't mind as it seems she has built up a steely inner strength against her doubters, thanks to a pep talk from her psychologist.

When asked how she feels about people calling her stupid, she replies: 'It's a really unattractive thing to say.

'My psychologist said, 'Helen the more you say to people that you're not stupid, it's like you're protesting and you've got something to hide.'

'I know I come across as very ditzy, but that doesn't mean that I'm stupid.'

Helen Flanagan spent most of this year as a lady of leisure after quitting Coronation Street.

But despite having recently moved into a £6,500-a-month Cheshire mansion with her footballer boyfriend Scott Sinclair, the actress admits she's not exactly a domestic goddess.

As she posing like a sexy housewife in a new shoot, the former soap star, 22, admits she's 's**t' at housework.

Now a bonafide WAG after Scott signed with Manchester City, Helen poked fun at the expectation she should be perfect housewife in a sexy retro shoot.

In one shot, she lies on the bed in a basque, dressing gown and stockings as she does the knitting.

And in another image, she whips up a storm in the kitchen in a low-cut polka-dot dress.

Speaking about her domestic skils, she tells the latest issue of New! magazine: 'I don't think I could be a stay-at-home housewife. I'm not dissing that, but it's not really me.

'I'm not the best at baking cakes! I do try with cleaning and cooking, but I'm actually just s**t at it.

'I'll make Scott a stir-fry, but really we tend to eat at Nando's all the time.'

The 5ft 4in star, who is known for her famous curves and ample cleavage, currently weighs 8 1/2 stone.

She enthused: 'I do love my body.

'And I'm quite happy with my weight. I think it's bad to be too obsessed with your weight or how you look.'

Despite her WAG persona, Helen insists she's anything but a typical girlfriend of a footballer.

She explained: 'I think some people have the misconception that if you're going out with a footballer, you're some sort of brat and get whatever you want.

'But I'm just a really normal girl. I'm from a normal background and Scott is, too.'
