Emma Watson at The Perks Of Being A Wallflower premiere

That's better! Emma Watson bares her legs in a cute miniskirt after wearing bizarre trouser dress for The Perks Of Being A Wallflower premiere

|

She doesn't normally put a leg out of place when it comes to fashion but on Wednesday evening Emma Watson made a bit of a faux pas by wearing both a skirt and trousers to The Perks Of Being A Wallflower premiere in London.
Fortunately she soon saw the errors of her ways and before she carried on with her evening she made a quick pit stop at her hotel in London for an outfit change.
She emerged a short while later with her slim legs on display, raising the question of why she felt the need to cover them earlier in the evening.

The petite star accompanied the short black mini skirt with a white shirt featuring a black crochet collar, over which she wore a black blazer.
She wore her cropped hair in the same style as at the premiere - wavy and pinned to the sides- although a few hairs did appear to be out of place.
The Harry Potter actress was accompanied by a female companion and a couple of people who appeared to be security.

As she took to the red carpet to promote The Perks Of Being A Wallflower earlier on Wednesday, it seemed she had forgotten to take her trousers off.
It could be that she was simply trying to make a style statement but it made her look rather confused as she matched her black trousers to her strapless frock.
From her knees upward, Emma looked stunning and like she was playing it safe in the Dior ensemble with the sweetheart neckline.

Smiling sweetly the 22-year-old accessorised with an intricate silver pendant in the shape of a key and kept her make-up low-key.
But as eyes moved downwards it became evident Emma had not only worn a dress to the screening but also a pair of trousers worn underneath it or even especially stitched to the gown.
Although she still looked glamorous and grown up with her skyhigh heels finishing off the look.

And fans of the star will see her more grown up when her new film hits cinema screens.
As Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, Watson wasn't required to do many kissing scenes.
So when it came to puckering up with her co-star in her latest movie The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, Emma admitted she found the scene more than a little difficult.

Emma revealed during an interview with Nick Grimshaw on his new Radio 1 breakfast show on the morning of the premiere that she just can't watch when the passionate scene comes on during the movie.
She said: 'It's really funny because when I watch the film back, there are a few things I can't watch. I can't watch the Rocky Horror dancing scene, and I can't watch the kissing scenes.'
Emma sports a corset and lashings of make-up as she channels Susan Sarandon in the Rocky Horror tribute scene, and said that she found it tough getting in touch with her physical side for the moves.

And she's pleased she got the chance to take on the different role to stop her from continuing to be 'boxed in'.
She added to this month's Empire magazine: 'I really get boxed up as ‘nice white middle-class girl’. But I’ve been amazed about how open-minded directors have been about what I might be able to do.
Watson’s also been snapped up by Sofia Coppola for The Bling Ring, and just wrapped on Darren Aronofsky’s Biblical epic Noah.

Speaking about The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, she added to the magazine, which is for sale from Thursday: 'I get to play a crazy LA valley girl, a Biblical girl, an American high school girl, an 18th century period girl... getting to do lots of different things. But it’s always worrying: is all that’s going to come out Hermione?
'I was so nervous, but it was such a laugh to get dressed in all those costumes, to get to dance.'
Another thing Emma struggled with in the film was mastering the American accent, although the British star said she did enlist the help of her friends at college in the States to get it right.
She said: 'I had help from my college friends with the accent but I really lost sleep over it and was very concerned about making sure the American accent was peachy. I worked with a voice coach too.'
Not a natural dancer: Emma also revealed that she struggled with the dance scene where she had to pay tribute to Susan Sarandon in The Rocky Horror Show

And while Emma has earned herself legions of admirers thanks to her slim figure, she admitted that there is one thing she just can't live without when it comes to her treats.
Asked if there was one food she would happily eat for the rest of her life, Emma replied: 'It would have to be the Heinz baked beans - the ones with the pork sausages. And toast. So I guess it would be two items.'
The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is released in the UK on 3rd October.

Nina Dobrev flaunts her figure in backless floral pantsuit

Fresh as a daisy! Nina Dobrev flaunts her figure in backless floral pantsuit

|

She shares the screen with Emma Watson in new film The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
And Nina Dobrev today played on that theme in an eye-catching number of her own.
The Vampire Diaries star, 23, flaunted her figure in a backless floral pantsuit as she greeted fans at an autograph signing in Atlanta.

Nina, who is the latest covergirl for Seventeen magazine, looked fresh-faced and showed off her natural beauty - tying her hair half up in loose waves and boasting a rosy complexion as she signed covers of her October issue for fans.
The actress made sure cameras got a shot of her back as well, as she put her hand on her hip and looked over her shoulder to reveal a sexy cut-out.

Dobrev is impressively carving out a career for herself in feature films, having been known since 2009 for her role as Elena Gilbert and her alter-ego Katherine Pierce in The Vampire Diaries.
But the young actress is mixing it up in The Perks of Being a Wallflower - a coming-of-age story based on the best selling novel by Stephen Chbosky.
The romantic drama sees Watson star alongside 3:10 to Yuma's Logan Lerman and We Need to Talk About Kevin star Ezra Miller in the story of an introvert freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors.

Emma plays the role of Sam, Patrick's (played by Miller) free-spirited step-sister, whom Charlie (played by Lerman) falls for. Dobrev plays Candace, Charlie's older sister.
The actress meanwhile recently opened up to Seventeen about life away from the set, and mixing business with pleasure after falling for Vampire Diaries co-star Ian Somerhalder.
She told Seventeen: 'Sometimes you can't help who you have a connection with, and you can only fight it for so long.

'I didn't want to be dating one of my co-stars - my goal on the show was to be professional.'
Despite their 10-year age difference, Dobrev and Somerhalder began quietly dating in 2010 a year after the hit show started filming. But as Dobrev suggests, their romance appears to be going strong despite her concerns.
The new season of The Vampire Diaries is set to premiere on October 11.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower is scheduled for release on September 20.

Emma Watson wears revealing dress again for screening

Emma Watson flashes her sideboob AGAIN... but this time it's deliberate as she sports revealing dress for screening

|

She suffered a wardrobe malfunction at the New York premiere of her new movie earlier this week when her dress slipped to one side and revealed her breast.
But that didn’t deter Emma Watson from showing some more skin at a screening for The Perks of Being a Wallflower tonight (Thursday).
The actress, 22, flashed some sideboob in a pretty and unusual white Brood dress for the event hosted by The Cinema Society in New York.

The top of the dress had low-cut sleeves which went all the way down to her waist and showed off her sides, while the skirt bared her legs and had buttons down the front.
The Harry Potter beauty completed her glamorous look with white court shoes and a piece of statement jewellery in the form of a 'Dream' feather ring by Crow's Nest.
Emma wore minimal make-up for the evening and styled her chestnut bob simple and sleek.
She posed up with her co-stars Adam Higenbuch, Johnny Simmons, Logan Lerman, Ezra Miller, and Erin Wilhelmi upon her arrival.

Also in attendance at the event tonight was singer Natasha Bedingfield.

The film is a coming-of-age story based on the bestselling novel by Stephen Chbosky, and sees Emma star alongside Logan and Ezra of We Need to Talk About Kevin fame in the story of an introvert freshman who is taken under the wings of two seniors.

Talking about the movie recently, Emma said she is hoping it allows her fans to see a different side to her, rather than her Harry Potter alter-ego Hermione.
She said: 'I hope what Harry Potter fans can see is that I am able to transform, that there are other sides of me that perhaps they haven't seen yet, and that they might allow me a little bit of room.
'Just doing American really is different. People have said to me that they keep forgetting it's me when they see the movie, which for me is more than enough. That's a success in itself for me, really.'

Wallflower Watson looks Perky at New York premiere

EMMA Watson shows the hint of a side boob and plenty of leg at a screening of her latest movie.

The Harry Potter star chose a revealing white mini-dress for her appearance at the New York premiere of The Perks Of Being A Wallflower.
She risked flashing too much flesh with the cut-out sides and displayed her stunning legs in the tiny skirt, with cute button detail.
And she chose matching white stilettoes to go with the eye-catching outfit.
But she managed to keep her modesty unlike her slip-up in Hollywood.

Her only splash of colour was green eyeshadow.
The 22-year-old actress plays Sam, the first love of awkward freshman Charlie, in the movie.
Percy Jackson star Logan Lerman takes the lead as the introverted boy, who is taken under the wing of older students Sam and Patrick (Ezra Miller).
Sam sets about helping the Wallflower to blossom.
Judging by this outfit, our Em is no shrinking violet.

Emma Watson is all grown up as a burlesque dancer in new Perks of Being a Wallflower trailer

Hermione wouldn't approve! Emma Watson is all grown up as a burlesque dancer in new Perks of Being a Wallflower trailer

|

She found fame worldwide as 'goody two-shoes' Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter series.
So it's only  natural that Emma Watson should be keen to sink her teeth into something a little more grown-up in her new work.
And it appears the 22-year-old has done just that, and steams up the screen as a sultry burlesque dancer in the just-released trailer for Stephen Chbosky's The Perks of Being a Wallflower.

Emma plays Sam, a free spirit who becomes the love interest of awkward teen Charlie, played by Logan Lermanm, who played d'Artagnan in last year's The Three Musketeers.
Her character is seen dancing enthusiastically at the homecoming dance, standing up in an open-topped car with the wind in her hair, and taking to what looks like a school stage in a raunchy burlesque get-up during the preview.
Her carefree persona is clearly a front however, as at one point she asks the film's protagonist Charlie: 'Why do I, and everyone I love, pick people who treat us like we're nothing'.

The film is based on the 1999 novel of the same name by Stephen Chbosky, which provoked some controversy with its handling of drugs, homosexuality and teen culture.
The story follows Charlie, a misfit teenager who arrives at a new High School without friends, any idea how to make them.
He is taken under the wing of senior student Sam and her stepbrother Patrick.

Charlie is bewitched by Sam, and she becomes his main love interest, for much of the story an idealised dream figure for the awkward teen.
Emma was understandably a little anxious about making the transition into slightly grittier material.
'I was very nervous to that stuff,' she admitted at the MTV Movie Awards yesterday. 'It was tough.'
