Victoria Pendleton: 'I feel like a wally turning on the passion!' Star says raunchy dancing doesn't come naturally and having a baby would be 'amazing'

Victoria Pendleton: 'I feel like a wally turning on the passion!' Star says raunchy dancing doesn't come naturally, her Strictly body depresses her and having a baby would be 'amazing'

While many celebrities have credited Strictly Come Dancing with helping them achieve a toned and finely honed physique, there is one star who isn't as proud as Kimberley Walsh to flaunt her new dancer's body.
Olympic athlete Victoria Pendleton says she is 'depressed' by her figure after being forced to ditch her three-times-a-week gym routine in favour of Strictly's rigorous training schedule.
She has lost a staggering 9lbs of muscle - and says the thought 'upsets' her.
'When I look down at my legs now I feel very sad about it. I put in all those hours to get them bigger and now they’re shrinking in front of my eyes,' she says.

'I feel the most unfit I’ve felt in my entire life,’ she added in an interview with New magazine.
But while Victoria was a heroine in the velodrome, winning enough medals to fill a trophy cabinet or two, the 32-year-old isn’t having as much luck on the dancefloor.
Victoria has been left feeling more like a mere mortal than an Olympic record-breaker – and the Strictly glitter ball prize is far from within her sights after she fluffed her routine on the opening night and has repeatedly found it hard to get into character.
The biggest challenge, she says, is turning on the passion in her dance routines with partner Brendan Cole.
‘I do find it hard. I’ve tried but I do feel a bit of a wally. I feel totally out of my comfort zone trying to act,’ she said in the candid interview with New.

Brendan has hinted that the timing of the final - if the Olympic cyclist manages to dance her way that far - could be tricky.
The professional dancer is expecting his first child with Zoe Hobbs - with the due date just two weeks after the BBC show's final.
The two, who have been locked away rehearsing together for the past two months, have grown exceptionally close - and Brendan is reportedly helping Victoria work on a routine for her first dance when she marries ex-team GB sports scientist Scott Gardner, 37 in a ceremony next summer.

And when both the Strictly schedule and the wedding are out of the way Victoria reveals she may be setting her sights on a new challenge: motherhood.
She says she can see herself with 'one, maybe two' children if she's lucky enough.
Speaking to Closer magazine, she said: ‘The thought of having a baby used to scare me, but now I think it would be amazing.’
