They say the Mac is the ultimate British summer fashion accessory - lightweight, elegant, and easy to pop on when the inevitable summer showers pour down.
However Irish television presenter Laura Whitmore made the simple wardrobe staple look ultra sexy as she stepped out wearing the classic piece.
With her coat wrapped around her petite frame, the 28-year-old MTV star looked achingly chic as she departed ITV's studios in London on Friday.

The pretty blonde showed off her impressive pins as she hot-footed it from the TV studios' Southbank base in a pair of high heels.
Her light summer shirt was visible at the top of her coat's neckline, but the Mac extended down to cover her short white skirt, allowing her legs to take all the attention.
The cute TV star was glowing as she left the studios after discussing music on the Lorraine show in the morning.

But there was no time to waste, as she had to make a mad-dash across town to interview hot new pop stars, Union J.
'Now off to @mtvuk to host @mtvuknews with @unionJworld' Laura tweeted after she darted off from the studio.
The star had livened up the Lorraine show panel at ITV as she sat on the sofa earlier in the morning to dispense her music knowledge.

She was a picture of beauty as she appeared on the early morning show in her elegant outfit against the garish background of the talk show.
It has been a great week in the style stakes for Laura as she attended an Esquire party on Wednesday in a white silk outift.
Despite the British weather being traditionally cold with light showers, the Irish babe has been showing off her smooth legs in short cut outfits.

However the presenter underestimated her own star power at the event as she made something of a faux pas with actor-turned-rock-star Jared Leto.
'Introducing myself to Jared Leto again and him replying 'yea you interviewed me before' #cringe' she tweeted, highlighting an awkward encounter with the 30 Second's To Mars star.
Laura was amongst the guest that attended the exclusive bash for the high-end men's magazine at Somerset House.
