She adhered to a gruelling training regime before winning the latest series of Strictly Come Dancing last month.

And as well as helping her to lift the coveted Glitterball Trophy, it would appear that Abbey Clancy's hours of slaving away in the dance studio also paid dividends in terms of her bikini body.

The 27-year-old model showcased her toned physique as she worked on her tan while soaking up the sun with her two-year-old daughter, Sophia, on a new year's break in Dubai.

Kicking back as she enjoyed a well-earned break after seeing the Strictly season wrap shortly before Christmas, the Liverpudlian WAG paraded her slim figure in a tiny off-white two-piece while enjoying some quality time with her little girl.

Wearing her ash blonde locks swept back from her face as she relaxed around the pool at Dubai's exclusive Le Royal Meridien Hotel, the wife of Stoke City striker Peter Crouch accessorised her bikini look with a dangling gold pendant, a blingy watch and chic black cat-eye sunglasses.

Chatting to her girlie pals and sipping on a glass of champagne, Abbey looked as though she was enjoying a well-earned relax after a gruelling few months in the dance studio with her professional partner Aljaz Skorjanec.

Cooling off from the heat of the Middle Eastern sun, the Strictly champion later covered up in a white crochet kaftan as she joined adorable Sophia for a fun-filled game of table tennis.

The tot, who turns three in March, seemed to be having plenty of fun in the sun with her mummy, and looked super-cute in frilly aqua bikini bottoms and a baby blue bow in her hair.

Now back in the UK after enjoying her new year break with her daughter, Abbey is gearing up for rehearsals for the Strictly Come Dancing tour.

Writing on her Twitter page on Sunday night, she said: 'Strictly tour rehearsals start tomorrow!!'

Abbey saw in 2014 in the United Arab Emirates with Sophia, a group of female friends, her doppelganger mother Karen and brother John.

But her husband Peter was left to fulfill his football commitments in the distinctly less glamorous location of Stoke-On-Trent.

After lifting the Glitterball Trophy at the end of December, Abbey praised Peter for his support throughout the series, and said she was looking forward to spending some quality time with little Sophia.

She said: 'I just can’t wait to be with Sophia. She’s loved every second of Strictly, so I can’t wait to take the Glitterball home. She’s going to be over the moon.

'I want to spend time with my baby and then we start the tour in the first week of January, so there won’t be much rest.

'I still don’t feel it’s real - it’s insane. I am in shock because it hasn’t hit me yet. Peter has been incredible. I couldn’t have done it without him. He’s literally doing all my roles, his own, doing his football every day. He’s definitely dad of the year.'
