Chloe Moretz earned her fashion credentials at Sunday night's MTV VMAs when she shunned the red carpet dress code in favour of a chic Louis Vuitton top and trousers.
The If I Stay actress pulled together a sophisticated all-pink outfit with a 60s lift in her hair, walking the red carpet solo in the face of speculation over her personal life.
Chloe, who was rumoured to be dating the eldest son of fashion moguls David and Victoria Beckham, Brooklyn, was doing her best to showcase her own fashion prowess while strutting her stuff in cute pink stilettos.

The 17-year-old sparkled on Sunday night when she slipped into a high neck embellished sweater, decorating her waist with a studded belt.
She chose a pair of tailored trousers in powder pink, instead of elegant dresses like fellow youngsters Lucy Hale, Sarah Hyland and Greer Grammer.
And, keeping her look simple and slick, the actress avoided over-accessorising disregarding a clutch bag, necklace and rings, opting for just a little extra glamour at her finger tips with metallic nails.

The actress has just finished promoting her new film If I Stay, in which she plays Mia Hall, who struggles to choose between her passion for music and the love of her life.
Chloe's own love life has recently been a hot topic, with pictures of Chloe and Brooklyn Beckham hanging out on skateboards leading some to speculate that the two were dating.
Brooklyn, 15, was also seen at Chloe's movie premiere in Los Angeles last week as she shot a coy finger point at him in the crowd with a smile.
Then came pictures of Chloe holding hands with look-a-like teen Julian Moraes and later an Instagram of the couple kissing in a photobooth, putting an end to rumours that Chloe and Brooklyn were ever an item.

Though, in a recent interview with the Sunday Times magazine, Chloe appeared to blur the lines between friendship and dating, saying she couldn't distinguish the two.
Chloe said: 'I don't even know what dating is at this point. It's all so stupid... why can't you just hang out with each other?
'Go to dinner if you want to? Why can't you go skateboarding if you want to go skateboarding with a guy?'
