Jenna and the new Doctor – Peter Capaldi – are currently on a  five-continent promo trek ahead of the launch of season eight on 23 August.
On Saturday the actors materialised in Mexico and will next be heading to Rio de Janeiro in Brazil before returning to the UK. They have already met fans in Australia, London, Cardiff, and South Korea.
The first episode will mark Capaldi's full debut as the new Doctor - the 12th incarnation of the beloved time-travelling hero.
The frenzied build-up around the next series comes as a new trailer was released earlier this week.
In the clip, Peter's Doctor awakes to the roars of a T-Rex in Victorian London, while the first episode - entitled Deep Breath - will feature appearances from Madame Vastra and Jenny Flint.
The teaser clip gave fans an insight into the playful relationship between the new Time Lord and his sidekick, with Jenna's Clara Oswald perusing the revamped TARDIS and saying: 'You’ve redecorated! I don’t like it', a staple line used in many Doctor Who series.
A spokesperson for Jenna has been contacted for comment.
