Dead Sexy! Lauren Cohan walks to a different tune as she sheds zombie-fighting tomboy character in sizzling bikini shoot
Zombie-fighting Lauren Cohan, known to millions as tomboy action girl Maggie Green in The Walking Dead, has just revealed her secret, deadly weapon.
The 32-year-old actress looks unrecognisable from her onscreen alter ego shows off her sexy side in a bikini photoshoot for the December issue of Women’s Health.
Lauren is nothing short of drop dead gorgeous, flaunting her figure in a lime green bikini and black cape, complete with flyaway hair in one striking shot.

In another image, the Supernatural alum posed in an all-black bikini and a bright orange vest that revealed her trim midsection.
The look was completed with shimmery, red lips, a sports watch and simple ring.
Taking a more seasonal approach to the shoot, the actress modeled a grey jacket with white fur trim and a black top underneath.

The cover girl, who's seen in a high-waist black and white bikini bottom and red sweatshirt in the issue available on newsstands now, revealed in an interview how she keeps in such good shape.
'I try to follow the 10,000 steps which is not difficult if I’m busy working, and Pilates, and ballet, and dancing,' she said.
'Anything that I have fun doing. For me staying healthy is so often just about me being happy and a workout that makes me happy.'
The 10,000 steps (roughly 5 miles) program aims to get people active by using tracking devices to monitor the amount of walking done in a day.

On the success of apocalyptic AMC show The Walking Dead, the former Vampire Diaries actress said she was taken by surprise by its massive appeal.
'I didn’t really have time to think about whether I thought it was going to be big, I was just so happy with the show and being on the show and the people that I work with,' she said, adding, 'It’s funny you sort of come out of our little vacuum of filming and you realize how popular it is. But no, I never anticipated it being that big.'
Now in its fifth season, her part was originally intended to be a recurring role, but she was promoted to a series regular during the third season.

Having worked on two other popular fantasy shows - Supernatural and The Vampire Diaries - the TV star didn't expect The Walking Dead to be her next move.
'When I started acting I enjoyed comedy and that’s what I thought I’d end up doing–just action, screwball comedy is what I’ve always wanted to do,' she said.
'It’s fun to do something like Walking Dead and now I have all the time in the world to do all of the other things. I mean I want to do everything. Literally I want to do musicals, play a jazz singer, I want to somehow emulate Kevin Kline and Tilda Swinton.'
She cites Swinton, who won a Best Supporting Actress Oscar in 2007 for Michael Clayton, as an influence who she considers 'inspiring – trailblazing.'

Shot on location in Georgia, the American-born British actress said she enjoys splitting her time between Los Angeles and London, but she's more than happy to call Atlanta home.
'Everything that I like doing, which is antiquing, hiking and exercising and relaxing you can do that in Atlanta too,' she said. 'You get to wake up in the morning and sit on the balcony, have a cup of coffee, and just feel. It’s got a richness to it. There’s nowhere else like England though.'
'The things that make me the happiest are just standing around a piano,' she said. 'That’s one thing I like about Georgia, I feel like I’ve met a lot of people with really old-fashioned hobbies. I go to a gospel church here. It’s been such a great experience in the south. Basically anything that involves piano, singing, jazz, reading. I could be in 1800 and be really happy.'

As for her holiday plans, she intends to visit her family in England, where she spent her teenage years and studied drama and literature at University of Winchester, to celebrate Christmas.
'I don’t go back to England every year but I’m going back this Christmas and my grandfather is coming from Spain. My youngest brother since he was 14 has been an amazing chef so he always cooks us pig-in-a-blanket from scratch.'
She added: 'My grandfather plays the piano so we just kind of spend Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and Boxing Day playing music, playing board games. Heads Up is our new obsession. It actually used to be the parlor game where everybody puts their names and put them in a hat. My granddad never gets these games, so if we play something like charades, he will say, "Rhymes with Ichael Ackson," and you’re like, "Michael Jackson?" that’s not how you play that. Half my family lives in America and half my family lives in Europe so each alternating year is nice to get that sacred time where you know you won’t get any work pressure. Just like everybody.'
