She split from Dev Patel, her boyfriend of six years, in November but Freida Pinto has not been sitting at home crying about it.
The 30-year-old actress attended the US premiere of her latest movie Desert Dancer at the Santa Barbara film festival on Tuesday night in a fun, flirty dress with a sheer skirt which showed off her long legs.
Freida appeared to be in high spirits, laughing and joking with her fellow attendees as she enjoyed her big night.

The actress, who shot to fame in Slumdog Millionaire alongside Dev, 24, wore her long hair in a faux bob and added a slash of red lipstick for a dramatic effect.

Desert Dancer is a true story of a young, self-taught dancer in Iran, Afshin Ghaffarian, who risked his life for his dream to become a dancer despite a nationwide ban.
Freida plays his friend Elaneh, who was one of a group who helped him to form an underground dance troupe.
Meanwhile, Freida is putting her break-up with Dev firmly behind her with an insider telling US Weekly that the actress is enjoying herself since the break-up, and hinted that she's happily going on other dates.

Though his romance with the brunette beauty only helped to raise the Dev’s profile over the years, rumours began to circulate when the two hadn't been seen together for quite some time.
The British actor was noticeably absent at her 30th birthday celebrations in October, where Freida was seen looking slightly worse for wear after having let her hair down while with friends in Los Angeles.

And in an interview last year, Freida, a former model in Mumbai, remained tight-lipped about her romance with the star.

However, in previous chats, the two had dubbed each other 'soul mates'.
