On Saturday in Hollywood THE big event to be at, or at least invited to, was DuJour magazine's Great Performance Issue Pre-Golden Globes Party.

Downton Abbey's Michelle Dockery led the star-packed charge dressed in what amounted to regal European chic. Barely showing an inch of flesh, the actress still looked every inch the global star her British TV drama has turned her into.

Wearing black heels and a black ankle-length dress with a white collar, it was very old-school Hollywood, but at the same time had a truly sophisticated air of glamour to it.

Started only n 2012 DuJour is a digital and print magazine that aims to target the affluent market in the US and chronicle the world of the wealthiest and most inspiring individuals it can find.

The magazine's Winter 2013 cover star is Lupita Nyong'o from 12 Years A Slave.

Previous cover stars have included Robert De Niro, Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman and Kim Kardashian

Ever After and Insight movie star Angeline-Rose Troy was gathered together in a finely-draped mellow yellow dress

Also in attendance at DuJour's swish party were plenty of Hollywood heavyweights dressed in their designer finery.

Two blonde actresses brought their A-game, and and big pop of colour to the event as well.

Comeback queen Tara Reid also made an appearance at the DuJour event, wearing an outfit that was more cool than it was chic, especially her skinny jeans.

The actress appears to be back on track now with a wealth of new movies and projects that she is attached to. One of them includes the comedy satire The Hungover Games, which is a send-up of both The Hunger Games and The Hangover.

Ross Noble and Ben Begley are the stars with the movie due for release in the US in March.

Someone who Hollywood has been taking a lot of notice of lately is Lupita Nyong'o from 12 Years A Slave. The actress arrived at the DuJour event with her 12 Years A Slave director Steve McQueen and happily posed for photos of herself with the current DuJour cover.

She wore a truly beautiful dress that almost qualified as a work of art and was in a similar colour palette to the one she wore on the cover of DuJour.

Founder/CEO Jason Binn also made sure that he got in on the action too as he happily posed with the stars for photos too at the event.

Looking like he needed a good meal at the event was Game of Thrones star Kit Harington

Never mind the curtains! Entertainment Tonight's Rocsi Diaz went ethnic and earthy for her dress choice on the night

Other stars who turned up for the event included Game of Thrones' hunk Kit Harington, Entertainment Tonight presenter Rocsi Diaz and two Hollywood couples - Mira Sorvino and husband Christopher Backus and Perry Farrell and wife Etty.

Mira was dressed more businesswoman than Hollywood glamour girl for the event. 

Both Christopher and Perry., meanwhile, appeared to favour the latest male fashion accessories - the oversized scarf.

She's shown a new reticence about her body since announcing her pregnancy, hiding her changing figure in layers of dark clothing.

But Kim Kardashian overcame her shyness to show off the beginnings of a baby bump in a bikini as she posed for her first pregnancy photoshoot.

Wearing a white two-piece and a simple floral sarong, the reality star was styled as a 'Tahitian princess' and kept her make-up simple and hair brushed back.

The images were shot by photographer Bruce Weber at his Miami home just five days after Kanye West announced his girlfriend's pregnancy back in January.

Looking relaxed and happy, Kim also takes to the pool in the shots, her hair wet and eyelashes glistening.

She told DuJour magazine she was having an easy pregnancy, with no morning sickness, no cravings and no fatigue.

'I used to always say I can’t wait to get pregnant because I will just eat whatever I want, but it’s completely different,' she told the magazine.

'I’m like, OK, I want to eat as healthy as possible.'

In fact since she rarely drinks Kim's biggest challenge is cutting back on her favourite drink -Diet Coke, which she has replaced with the occasional iced tea.

But Kim isn't too worried if she has the occasional unhealthy treat,

'Lately I’ve been watching shows like I’m Pregnant And Addicted To Meth. It definitely makes me feel better if I’m wanting one sip of Diet Coke or, you know, too much sugar.

'I’m like, This woman is on meth.'

Kim has already signed up with celebrity trainer Tracy Anderson in a bid to make losing her baby weight that little bit easier.

In the interview she also talks about her figure, saying she prefers clinging clothes as they make her look more petite.

'I think because I have big boobs it could make me look heavier if I don’t, like, show off my waist or something, so I just have kind of learned to dress one way only.'

And she explained the difference between her own style and that of her sisters Khloe and Jourtney.

'Khloé can wear flowy, pretty things because she’s really tall. Kourtney is, like, really little. I’m just kind of in between, so it doesn’t really work.'

Kim also talked about her relationship with her baby's father, Kanye, saying he had 'taught her a lot' about privacy.

'I’m ready to be a little less open about some things, like my relationships. I’m realizing everyone doesn’t need to know everything. I’m shifting my priorities.'

And she revealed that she has started turning down fans who ask to take a photograph with her.

'I just tell them, sorry, but my boyfriend won’t let me.'

And she admits living her life in the pubic eye comes with unique challenges.

'When you live your life so publicly, like on a reality show, people assume that they know every side of you already.

'But they always want more.' 

And although she says Keeping Up With The Kardashians is the ultimate home movie, she adds: 'Doing a TV show with your family, it’s really hard to hide or be guarded.'
