The Coronation Street cast cheer at Tina McIntyre's funeral before scoffing on tea and biscuits

Shouldn't you be grieving? The Corrie cast cheer at Tina McIntyre's funeral before scoffing on tea and biscuits

The death of Tina McIntyre has yet to be aired on Coronation Street, but the cast were already busy filming the funeral scenes on Tuesday.
However, while many would expect there to be lots of tears and forlorn faces of grief, the actors and actresses were in a rather good mood.
Hopefully their cheers weren't because Michelle Keegan has left the series for good, but more to do with the array of biscuits to go with their teas at the shooting location.

And the cast were certainly tucking into the sweet treats like nobody’s business, with Simon Gregson (Steve McDonald), Barbara Knox (Rita Tanner) and Malcolm Hebden (Norris Cole) munching on a few in between scenes.
At one point, Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) gathers the cast together for a group photo, and they all raise their hands and cheer despite the morbid situation.
His real-life wife Lucy-Jo Hudson (Katy Harris) was also in the crowd, along with Jack P. Shepherd (David Platt), Phillip Lowrie (Dennis Tanner), Helen Worth (Gail Platt), Marc Bayliss (Rob Donovan), Ben Price (Nick Tyldesley), Mikey North (Gary Windass), and Jennie McAlpine (Fiz Stape).

Chris Gascoyne – whose character Peter Barlow was having an affair with Tina – was seen puffing on a cigarette, but looking adequately upset when the cameras were rolling.
Alison King – who plays Carla Barlow – looked just as miserable but it isn't clear whether she knew of her husband’s philandering ways with the dearly departed before or after the murder.
Earlier pictures from the Corrie set at a police station saw Carla trying to free her brother Rob Donovan after he was taken in for questioning.

‘I know Carla will be in the thick of [Tina's murder]," Alison said in an interview with the Daily Express.
Tina’s tragic death will hit ITV screens this month.
They'll be hoping to beat rivals EastEnders in the ratings as the BBC soap also has a murder mystery with the recent death of Lucy Beale.
